I don't even know where to begin. The hotel has a lot going for it: there are plenty of amenities, various services, and the pool area is beautiful. However, the entire property is in desperate need of renovation, and it feels like the five-star rating was awarded simply because the hotel ticks the required boxes, such as having a restaurant and a fitness center. There isn't even a hint of luxury here. The facilities are extremely worn down, and the walls desperately need a fresh coat of paint. There are dozens of squashed mosquitoes on the walls, and the furniture looks like it's from the last century. The food in the restaurant is decent, but the atmosphere is chaotic, the tables and chairs are dirty, and the waitstaff are unfriendly. One morning at breakfast, a waiter dropped a glass right next to us, and a shard of glass hit my arm. He didn't even apologize. The only apology came from another staff member who arrived to clean up the broken glass. The staff at the pool are wonderful, but they don't enforce any rules about reserving sunbeds. As a result, guests leave towels on them all day, so finding a place to sit often means waiting for someone to leave. When we arrived at the hotel, it was pouring with rain and there was a power outage. No one was there to greet us when we entered the dark hotel. In the end, we carried our own luggage up to the third floor because the elevators weren't working. We could have left our bags in the lobby until the power came back, but we were soaked and exhausted and just wanted to get to our room. Our room had been upgraded, which was a nice gesture, but rain was coming in through the balcony door, leaving the floor soaking wet. The room was also missing towels and bathrobes for everyone, and despite reminding the staff three times, we didn't receive them until much later. The fitness center was very disappointing. The equipment was heavily worn, and some of it was practically unusable.

Erinomaiset vuoteet.

Upea paikka aivan meren rannassa. Autohalli.
