Vathi is a sweet little town, a horseshoe shaped harbor with lots of restaurants, town squares, and a pedestrian walkway all around. Not too touristy. And the waters near the town? The most amazing swimming we had while exploring the Ionian islands for a month! You MUST rent a little boat and explore the coast. You can't get to these spots without a boat. DO IT!

From $63 per nightThis place is amazing, if you are visiting Cephalonia, you must be there. The apartment is great, big, great shower, and has an incredible view of the sea. There you can find by walk supermarkets and restaurants (but I need to say that the best restaurants definitely is the Poseidon one, the food is so fresh). It was the best accommodation that I've had in all ionian islands. Thank you all for been so kind and offering a great accommodation. Now I understand why this place has this incredible rate, they deserved a even better!!!

We travel a lot with my wife and unfortunately we only spent one night to this gorgeous hotel, passing from Kefalonia to continue our trip at Ionian Islands. Kefalonia Grand is the ideal place if you want an elegant, relaxing holiday into the capital of Kefalonia, where the action takes place. Clean, spacious rooms and great, polite staff. We also had a wonderful dinner with special cocktails at the hotel's bar-restaurant. Can't wait to move back for a week through September!
