Incredibly comfortable beds. We slept very well. Great clean bathroom with a good shower. Lovely balcony. A set for making tea and coffee with everything you need. Great sauna in the spa, we were offered 30 minutes of use for free and loved it. We also loved breakfast! Good choice of sweet and savoury, even three varieties of honey to choose from, for example. Baked stuff like mini tiropita and croissants were very good.

The hosts (Aphrodite and her mom) are very welcoming and want to assist and do everything to make our stay pleasant. We had a Great breakfast! For the kids it was a great place - there is a very friendly pony horse (Kanella), 2 dogs (Rica and Bella).

It was off-season so the pool was not open. The room was very comfortable. I enjoyed an hot shower after hiking on the Peloponnese Way. There was a fabulous breakfast buffet in the morning. The staff was very helpful in coordinating a taxi for me to continue my journey.

Chalet Azanias far exceeded our expectations! It is a first rate establishment at an unbelievable location. The views of the valley and Kalavrata were stunning (see pictures) . The vanishing point pool was a perfect temperature and also shared the amazing view. The host and her crew were so gracious and helpful with suggestions of what to do in the area. They also cooked us a light breakfast every morning, and had the best fresh yogurt, fruit, local preserves, and other treats waiting for us in our room. We traveled as a family with 2 adults and 3 children, and our kids had a blast hiking, swimming, and exploring the town. There was so much to do and explore on the backroads and up to the top of the mountains. We wished we had stayed longer, and you can easily spend 4-5 days just getting to know the area. In the summer, when we traveled, there were tons of fresh local fruit and produce available. And the warm Gulf of Corinth is just a scenic drive or train ride down the hill if you want to mix it up for a day trip. Also a must see is the monastery, the monuments, and the local eatery's with delicious local food. The people were all very good natured and helpful. We will return to Kalavrata and Chalet Azanias. Thank you for the awesome experience!!

The rooms and the entire property are super clean. A few of the things I look for when rating hotels, super clean bathroom, easy parking, good location. This hotel had all of that and was more than expected. The owner and staff were wonderful. Breakfast was homemade with products grown at the property and locally. The views were wonderful. The property is just beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows were wonderful. It's easy to find. Close to downtown and everything you will want to see near Kalavrita. I plan to go back and stay longer. It beckons relaxation. I want to go back in the winter. I was there in September. The price was totally worth it.

We had an excellent stay at Enastron! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed as family , Roula and Niko went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was clean, tidy, beds were very comfortable and the wifi was excellent! The daily breakfast buffet was also wonderful, many treats to choose from including homemade jams. Roula went beyond expectations to ensure she had Gluten free options for myself, while also going out of her way to make a special homemade Greek pastry that our daughter loved when she tried it the first day, so she could have it again for before we checked out. Excellent hotel!

The entire staff is super friendly and super helpful with anything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. Having a fireplace in our room was amazing! The shower was awesome. Plenty of hot water & strong pressure. The breakfast is amazing. Plenty of variety and the ladies who work the breakfast are super nice. The location is perfect. It is very close to the city center and has easy access to skiing!

Easy to find , ski chalet type accommodation. Large bed , very hot shower with good pressure. Food extras to make 2 sandwiches, mini croissants,sweet bread loaf , coffee tea and mini fridge. Room was a bit cool temperature wise, but just turned up the heat quickly.

The town is a tourist base.

The town is a tourist base. Not particularly interesting or pleasant. We only went for the railway trip, but unfortunately it was cancelled on the two days we were there, due to falling rocks on the line. This doesn't happen very often apparently...we were just unlucky. There are cave lakes to visit but we didn't do that.The car journey to the town is wonderful both ways - from Dimitsana and Diakopto.

Lovely town with wide spaces, friendly people and some compelling history attached to it from the Holocaust and the Greek Independence . Great meal at a local restaurant that was delicious and very traditional. Unfortunately it is difficult to get around without a car and taxis are way too expensive. To get to Ayia Lavra which is 4 kms away they wanted 20 euro up and back. In the end we didn't go to any monastery. They should have buses that go up and back, at least during the tourist season

Kalavrita is a gorgeous town with lots of Greek History...

Kalavrita is a gorgeous town with lots of Greek History important sites, amazing nature walks and hike, lovely very affordable food and welcoming people. Even if you don't ski, as it is known for the ski resort, there are lots of things to enjoy. I will definitely revisit as 3 days at Kalavrita were barely enough.
