What a wonderful house! We loved the outside area , we had a BBQ and swam. Great family friendly house. The host was fantastic. We had an issue and he sorted it out very promptly. He stocked the kitchen with breakfast things for our first morning and a bottle of wine. The rooms were very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

The house is perfectly located in the village in a quiet...
The house is perfectly located in the village in a quiet location with a private parking space. It is close to the shop & the bakery & just 15 mins walk into Vathy port where there are lots of lovely restaurants and bars. Chrysavgi House was a lovely, relaxing place to stay and a great base for exploring the area. We would happily stay here again! Thank you George for being such a great host!!

Best place to stay on the island, great little bakery freshly baked every morning.
close to some lovely beaches and plenty of restaurants in vathy.
Errikos fish tavern was the best restaurant, and the pistrina project for bread, pastries and cakes so good and the best mojito

If you want to explore traditional Greek villages, then...
If you want to explore traditional Greek villages, then visit Meganisi. A rental car is essential as the villages are separated by kms of winding and steep roads. Two way roads become very narrow laneways between houses and some are one way so need to be careful negotiating bends. We visited Meganisi late in the season and many restaurants and accommodations were closed. Vathi still had some good restaurants operating but most will close by the end of October. A great island.

We have been to Meganissi several times and stayed in...
We have been to Meganissi several times and stayed in different places that have been availble.....we particularly liked Vathy as it was a bustling and busy place with plenty of bars and restaraunts..it has some slovely walks with great views
If you're planning a longer trip, look beyond Meganisi and explore the whole country!
