Apartment in a great spot, sounds of cicadas at night, with a lovely olive tree, town skyline and sea view from terrace, well equipped. 10 min walk from swimming beach, and 20 mins pleasant walk into Cres town centre. Supermarket and restaurant 2 mins walk away. Ljubo recommended Valun beach as an easily accessible option with clear waters and shade, perfect if you have a car. Cres is now a firm favourite, thanks in part to great accommodation!

Wonderful apartment, nice beds, nice furniture, right at the water and also close to the city center, right next to the convent.
Bernard was a wonderful host, very nice, proactive, e.g. sent us the ferry schedule on the way there.
The equipment was extraordinary - not the typical bare minimum that you often see in such apartments, but plenty of spoons, forks etc, also decent knives for cooking.
We stayed over Christmas - and were provided with additional electric heaters which was a big plus as well, as it was nice and cozy.
So altogether 11 out of 10 in every possible aspect:-)

They asked a fair price for the corner room. -The view in the photo shows more 'sea' than you can really see, you can't beat the location! Our accommodation cancelled on us the day before, so we were increadibly happy with this last minute option that MamaLu offered. We couldn't open the window because it smelt of fishy oil from the frier below, but the room had a good airco system, which kept the room cool. Restaurant was very good too.

We liked absolutely everything about the apartment!
The owner was amazing and very thoughtful.❤️
The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to cook and feel at home.
The bedrooms were spacious, each with its own ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, and very comfortable beds.
Parking was conveniently located right in front of the apartment.
Great vibes — we could have stayed much longer! 🍀

The rooms were extremely clean, fresh and renovated and the manager were super nice and friendly to us (even helped us with some medicines for my sick boyfriend). The surrounding area was also very lively at night, perfect for some summer vibes

We liked everything. It was truly the best decision to rent this house in Lubenice because it’s unique. The mornings with a coffee and breakfast on the terrace were definition of vacation. Hope to be back again!

The hosts were amazing, so nice, gave us everything we needed and all the advices were great. Also the house is spacious, the hot tub outside is a nice way to relax. Beach is close and it is amazing.

There are many gorgeous places to visit on Cres.
There are many gorgeous places to visit on Cres. Vulan was cute, Cres town itself was a really good to place to stay. Many hikes and cycling trails going off from there. Still seems to have a quaint charm. The island is quiet enough for the beautiful Griffon vulture. A highlight of my stay. Would I go back again? Just give me a chance and I will jump at it.

Pittoresque, very quiet, no cars, one little supermarket with one grumpy lady, one little kiosk with sporadic live music, a few restaurants on the waterfront, amazing water, few people, a couple of larger beaches and many quiet spots on the coast. July. An old gem.

We tried two restaurants "Sidro" and "Koralj" and both had good food and nice staff. We prefered "Koralj" as it was smaller and with more intimate atmosphere.

Beli is a special place.
Beli is a special place. It was my third visit there and I wish I could stay longer and return soon. Besides the old town (which is quiet and not crowded by many tourists), there is a nice beach beneath the town (nice walk but little bit steep) and plenty of opportunities for forest walks or even hikes. The paths are well marked and mostly hidden under the trees. In case of interest I suggest to download the "Tramuntana hike&bike map" on the internet. Do not miss the Way of the Cross in Beli.

Ustrine is a small village about 180 meters above the sea.
Ustrine is a small village about 180 meters above the sea. A quiet place to spend your vacation, the whole bay has 4 beaches. If you are staying in Ustrina, you can take a steep road to the beach by car. If you are not staying, you have to leave your car in front of the nice buffet and walk about 20 minutes. One of the most beautiful places with a sea view and the sunset.

Cres is still relatively unspoilt unlike other parts of Croatia. Cres Town is buzzy but traditional with a lovely harbour & plenty of beach. We did not have time to explore the rest of the island but would return to do so.

Good restaurants ( "Na moru" is the best )...
Good restaurants ( "Na moru" is the best )...Nice small fishing village...Friendly people....It is not easy to walk around as the roads and walkways are to stiff... Lack of parking space...No other facilities are available as of this time ( mid June) .. like beach umbrellas, reclining chairs, toilets on the beach, ....To many dogs roaming around....

It worths to check something new after a few trips to Krk...
It worths to check something new after a few trips to Krk and the other Croatian shores. Cres is nice, there is a lot of forests, flowers, the whole island is pretty green (compared to Krk). Most beaches are harder to reach, there is only a few where you do not need to climb hills or where you can park the car nearby. If you are fit, you can find nice beaches, but for the best ones prepare for 30-60 mins walking on rocky hills. If you want to choose from much more easily accessible beaches, go to Krk or come to Cres with boat.
