United KingdomThe hotel was very nice as was the swimming pool/beach/spa/gym. The service in the hotel was very good, and the people were nice. Our room felt very spacious and it was kept clean. It is very quiet and peaceful. It was a very easy walk into the marina area of the town from the hotel.

Parking is excellent, comfortable, and the location is convenient for exploring the island. A large supermarket is very close to the hotel. The few beaches are really close too. The rooms are spacious and superbly decorated. Breakfast is excellent, always fresh. Very nice and friendly owners

We especially enjoyed restaurant (one of 4 in the village) Ma Ma Lu (great for vegetarians). Our hosts Matea and her fiancé, we’re very helpful and wonderful to speak with.

Excellent location of the hotel on the largest Croatian island of Cres. Free parking provided. Extremely friendly staff at the reception, restaurant and room cleaning. Comfortable beds, super internet and good air conditioning. You can enjoy the terrace during meals or your terrace in the room. Plenty of space on the beach in the shade of a pine forest, with very clean sea and shore. You can really enjoy water sports, walks along the sea or numerous restaurants and amenities in the town of Cres.

They asked a fair price for the corner room. -The view in the photo shows more 'sea' than you can really see, you can't beat the location! Our accommodation cancelled on us the day before, so we were increadibly happy with this last minute option that MamaLu offered. We couldn't open the window because it smelt of fishy oil from the frier below, but the room had a good airco system, which kept the room cool. Restaurant was very good too.

We liked absolutely everything about the apartment!
The owner was amazing and very thoughtful.❤️
The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to cook and feel at home.
The bedrooms were spacious, each with its own ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, and very comfortable beds.
Parking was conveniently located right in front of the apartment.
Great vibes — we could have stayed much longer! 🍀

I actually want to keep this amazing …yes slightly quirky (with I love) place a secret 😁. Nina & ALL Staff plus local ppl were so good & friendly ❣️🤗 plus best food in the LOVELY BELI❤️… even young travelers/ scuba divers who stayed were lovely.. MY HIGHLIGHT bicycle ride of 🇭🇷😊 THE BEST!

Cres is still relatively unspoilt unlike other parts of Croatia. Cres Town is buzzy but traditional with a lovely harbour & plenty of beach. We did not have time to explore the rest of the island but would return to do so.

Ustrine is a small village about 180 meters above the sea.
Ustrine is a small village about 180 meters above the sea. A quiet place to spend your vacation, the whole bay has 4 beaches. If you are staying in Ustrina, you can take a steep road to the beach by car. If you are not staying, you have to leave your car in front of the nice buffet and walk about 20 minutes. One of the most beautiful places with a sea view and the sunset.

Pittoresque, very quiet, no cars, one little supermarket with one grumpy lady, one little kiosk with sporadic live music, a few restaurants on the waterfront, amazing water, few people, a couple of larger beaches and many quiet spots on the coast. July. An old gem.

We tried two restaurants "Sidro" and "Koralj" and both had good food and nice staff. We prefered "Koralj" as it was smaller and with more intimate atmosphere.

It worths to check something new after a few trips to Krk...
It worths to check something new after a few trips to Krk and the other Croatian shores. Cres is nice, there is a lot of forests, flowers, the whole island is pretty green (compared to Krk). Most beaches are harder to reach, there is only a few where you do not need to climb hills or where you can park the car nearby. If you are fit, you can find nice beaches, but for the best ones prepare for 30-60 mins walking on rocky hills. If you want to choose from much more easily accessible beaches, go to Krk or come to Cres with boat.

Good restaurants ( "Na moru" is the best )...Nice small fishing village...Friendly people....It is not easy to walk around as the roads and walkways are to stiff... Lack of parking space...No other facilities are available as of this time ( mid June) .. like beach umbrellas, reclining chairs, toilets on the beach, ....To many dogs roaming around....

We can visit a lot of hidden beaches in the daytime.
We can visit a lot of hidden beaches in the daytime. Very quiet place to chill and sleep at the nights. There is no big highways so can not hear the noise of the cars. Small roads are very rocky. For extra untouched beaches we have to walk a lot down on hot and rocky roads. There is everything you need petrol stations and shops.
