Located on a green peninsula, Amarin Hotel features a Wellness and Spa zone. There are 4 restaurants with special menus for children. The spa services were amazing! Angelika is simply the best. My son got hurt and Marin sent him a fruit basket with a note! The maid service washed my daughters onesie and brought it back the same day :) It was the best mini vacation we’ve had in a while! The kids enjoyed every bit of it and so did I.
Nestled on a rock above the sea, Design Hotel Navis offers an outdoor pool and a luxury interior. This is our second time staying at Hotel Navis, and we can definitely say "this is our hotel, we feel like at home here". Everything is perfect, from greetings and welcome drinks, room - bed is definitely one of the better I had chance to sleep in hotel, breakfast is so amazing. Little pool and beach are really nice place to relax from all the everyday stress. Long story short, we are going to keep coming back there!
Inside the Golden Cape Natural Park, Hotel Lone features a terrace and a spa area. The hotel is 215 yards from the sea and a 15-minute walk from central Rovinj. Food on a top level, excellent!
Featuring an outdoor pool with sun loungers, the family-run Hotel Villa Kapetanovic has a restaurant listed in the Gault Millau guide and a spacious terrace offering panoramic views of Kvarner Bay. It's quite and great place to be with your better half.
Featuring a Spa Centre with 6 hot tubs, an indoor and 2 outdoor pools, Hotel Laguna Parentium is only 50 yards from the beach in Poreč. The view and the bed were great!
Croatia’s first 5-star golf & spa resort is located in Savudrija, right on the Istrian coast. It has a private beach, a 9.8 ft² spa center, indoor and outdoor pools. Property is very taken care of, clean , breakfast is unreal and stafff is amazing
Renovated in May 2015, Park Plaza Arena Pula is surrounded by a fragrant pine forest just 164 feet from the Adriatic coast. Perfect location: in the city of Pula, but quietly located right on the beautiful Hawaiian beach. Great breakfast, rich and plentiful. Excellent for families with an abundance of attractions in the resort and very close by. Crystal clear warm sea, great for swimming and snorkeling. Immaculate maintenance. Perfect! We'll be back!
Set just above the coastline promenade in Opatija, the impressive Remisens Premium Hotel Ambasador provides free access to its Five Elements Wellness & Spa Center, which has swimming pools, a fitness... Truly great in all perspectives. Superior room on top floor was amazing, with the most beautiful views of sunrise. The food was excellent as well. Would definitely stay there again!
Featuring a wellness & spa center, the newly renovated Remisens Premium Grand Hotel Palace is housed in a beautiful Empire-style building, as one of the oldest hotel it is considered a local landmark.... Everything was perfect. The Hotel was renovated and it looks great. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff was very kind. The food was marvelous. The location is perfect.
Surrounded by a pine forest, the newly refurbished and upgraded Valamar Zagreb Hotel is just 427 feet from the beach and a 10-minute stroll from Poreč Old Town. We were very welcomed by the receiptionist who can speak German and very helpful and efficient. Nice view outside the hotel, there is a stone beach path...A very nice garden where kids can play. Nice seaview from our hotel balcony. Pity that we havent had the chance to get to the swimming pool, next time. And it is nearby to the little town center of Poreč, we liked it there a lot. By the way, the hotel food also good. Variety of choices :)

Charming old town, ectrimely romantic at night. Prices seemed to be the lowest along the Istrian cost. If you just staying on the cost I would highly recomend Rovinj area as a base. Pretty much rvery attraction on the peninsular would be within 40 min drive
We stayed for 5 days, but I wish we stayed longer. Great place. History of this town in Istria is amazing. We also took a one day trip to Venice. It was so convenient. The boat docks couple hundred of feet from the Colosseum. We stayed in Hotel Galija which is 10 minutes walk from city center and historical locations. If I can give Hotel and their employees 6 stars I would do so. We are definitely going back next year.
Porec is a little gem on the Istrian peninsula! The promenade along the sea was lovely and the medieval walls, basilica and towers were a high point! The Giostra historic festival during our stay was a high point and the boat to Sveti Nikola beaches was awesome in good weather!
The town is hilly, the streets are curvy and narrow, parking takes a bit of exploration, there is no sand beach. There is lots of shopping and a great 12 km promenade. Wonderful architecture. Easy to get to. Speaking English was really not a problem in the usual tourist activities. Great starting off point to see Istria.
A lovely place to spend a couple days while traveling through Istria and Croatia Plenty of eating options at all levels.
Not our kind of place. We just went there to avoid staying at Pula and should have done more research on the town. It seems very over rated to claim to be the Istrian Riviera!
A good place to stop on your way from Istria or Slovenia to other locales to the east (inland) or south (coastal). It seems like a resort in transition still trying to find itself with old world character contrasting with modern hotels.
We went in winter so it was tourist free and very tranquil. The weather was mild and we were able to bike ride around rural Istria which, with its old stone farms, grapes and olive groves sloping down to the sea, was beautiful. There was plenty to eat: restaurants, local shops and a supermarket. If you visit in summer Novigrad is well set up with swimming areas for children. You can also camp around the bay.
Best part was staying in the town at apart Franko. This quaint village was the best part of our entire trip to Croatia! If you rent a car, and like ‘off the beaten track’ then you MUST go to Hum. The whole area of Istria is amazing
Pula was good. The amphitheater was a great experience to see. Id avoid the restaurants around the square close to the temple. I’d also recommend a drive around Istria, on the coats and also inland. Amazing landscapes within one hour drive.

This is the nicest place that I have been. You have everything what you need and the most important - people are very friendly! Specially if you are cyclist this is the perfect starting point to discover all Istria. Rooms are big and whole apartment is very clean. The quiet area is very distressful so you can recharge your batteries and relax. Also, the parking space is not a problem. If someone wants to feel real Istria this is the place. If I will go here again I will definitely choose Apartment Greta.

The host was extraordinary communicative in a good way. We have some requests, and all of it was managed, and fulfilled by the host. Kindness, taking care of the customer, and flexibility (we were allowed to stay a day longer than originally planned - we told them this request a day before the trip, they let us to stay at the same, discounted price - this approach is rare.) The apartment is in downtown, you just walk out of the door, and you are in the middle of one of the nicest old city of Istria.

Apartment was way nicer than expected. Landlord was very nice. Centrally located at the bottom of the Istrian peninsula. Short drive to Medulin (tourist beach town with nightlife), Pula (bigger city with Roman ruins and cave kayaking) and Premanture (Safari Bar, cliff jumping and the beach at Plov????? was isolated (no amenities) but populated and perfect for snorkeling/swimming). Great place for families to stay to see the above. Also apartment has restaurant and bar only a couple houses away.

The apartment was super clean. The attention to detail was awesome! The shower is also well designed and very comfortable! Location is also good, not really in old town Rovinj (actually good as it's quieter) and very easy to get to everywhere. Bed is comfy, not too soft or too firm. We arrived late and our host's mother kindly waited for us. Easy to communicate with the host before and during our stay. It was a great stay, would definitely stay there again when we return to Istria!

Very nice and comfortable apartment just right next to the old city center, with easily accessible private parking. The host, Valter was waiting for us in front of the house, and led us to the parking place next street. In the apartment Valter welcomed us with a nice domestic liqur, and a lot of information about PULA, Kamenjak, istrian olive oil and Adriatic tuna :) The apartment was really nice, comfortably furnitured, clean and looking new.The bed was also very comfy.

Very nice apartment with a lovely layout, beautifully designed interior, modern and well equipped kitchen (loved it!). The bedroom is quite roomy and the bed is very comfortable. I quite liked the bathroom too, especially the shower tub. I loved having the breakfast and coffee on the patio with the view of the open garden in the backyard. Location is very good too, easy to get to downtown Pula, and also to any other location in Istria.

Nice host who offered us a glass of wine on arrival! Rustic and comfortable apartment in a non-touristy and quiet village (tower bells are close by but this is part of the charm of this little village). Good restaurant in the center (walking distance), 15-30 mins away from the Istrian coast towns of Porec and Rovinj by car. The apartment is next to the Church Square and offers a good parking place.

Great place, with amazing access to a calm bay, surrounded by forested hills. Early nineties hotel has a feeling of the past era - in a good sense - which gives it a special atmosphere. Highly recommended for those who expect something interesting and are not spoiled by vapid chain hotels and all inclusives. Close to many interesting places in Istria - Pula, Rovinj, Kamenjak peninsula.

Apartment was very well equipped, terrace was great. Parking was wonderful on property own parking lot. Exceptionally good is property location. Pješčana Uvala has one of best beaches in Istria. Area is great for snorkeling, swimming, hiking, biking. Nearby are restaurants, bars, ice-cream, grocery store and it takes only few kilometers to get to historical city of Pula.

This is a lovely apartment. The owner of the place is so sweet and she left little goodies for us throughout the week and even brought bikes for us to borrow. Lots of space and a good location in the center of Istria. Tinjan is a cute little town to stroll around (though there isn't much going on). Very clean and friendly place to stay - we definitely recommend it!

The property was in the centre of the centre! The newly renovated apartment was beautiful and spacious for one couple. Vanja gave us all sorts of excellent advice of places to see in Istrian and helpful suggestions for restaurants. The actual address is Radnicka # 10. The host moved his car so we could park right in front of his building- very thoughtful!

A basic apartment in a decent location - good value for the money. Gives the feeling of being secluded while still being a short walk from downtown or a quick drive out of the city. We were traveling with a car and stayed here 3 nights while we took day trips around Istria. A great, simple home base.

Wow what a location. Our first trip to Istria which was fantastic. Loved the old city up on the hill of Buzet and the outlook from the terrace of the hotel. Had our best meal in two weeks of being in Croatia at the hotel and great service.

We used the place as a base to explore Istria, worked brilliantly. Very nice hotel with a good restaurant and helpful staff. The old town is well kept and pretty, worth the short walk to explore.

Hotel Draga di Lovrana is a 10/10 place! Lovely location, excellent Restaurant, good staff... One of the few Boutique Hotels in Croatia, an absolute must if you travel to Istria.

The stuff allover the resort was super friendly!! During our visit at the end of May the beaches were almost empty while the sea temperature was perfect for swimming. We really enjoyed the beautiful views of Rovinj old town that you can see practically from everywhere in the resort - also while having a breakfast or super nice dinner on the restaurant terrace. Also the architecture and functionality of new apartments is amazing and features furniture by contemporary Croatian designers!

Reception desk staff is kind. However, if you ask a lot, you'll probably stay disappointed. Good value for money, if you choose the new object - Sv. Stjepan (difference in price is minimal). If you're fan of nature, cycling (Parenzana bike trail is near) and Motovun film festival, location is perfect. They offer rent of electrical bikes
