They have a driver to take you to the nearby restaurant. The included breakfast buffet is pretty impressive .

This is a wonderful family run hotel, it’s quite small so has a peaceful and relaxing ambience & is close to Plitvice Lakes.
There is a shop within walking distance, a few places to eat too - but we ate at Rustic Lodge for both nights we stayed. The food was excellent, good value dinner menu and the breakfast was great too!
The room was clean and comfortable, and just as lovely as the photos (if not better).
It was a relaxing place to stay with an outdoor area to sit and enjoy a drink after a day at the lakes.
The host family were all very lovely & helpful.
You can walk to the lakes from the hotel (entrance 2) in about 30-40 mins. (Zig zag to avoid the main road & follow the signs for the lakes entrance)
This is one of our favourite hotels we’ve stayed at.

The staff truly exceeded our expectations.
Why? They were incredibly attentive – answering all our questions, giving helpful tips about visiting Plitvice Lakes, and even suggesting ways to keep our child entertained within the hotel grounds. After we checked out, they even called us about some items we had forgotten – a thoughtful gesture we really appreciated.
The restaurant was also excellent. We tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner – everything was delicious.

Only great things- just a breath-taking Plitvice Lakes National Park! That was the focus of our trip. There were many nearby areas of beauty and fun things to do that we missed. You need a few days in this area of Croatia!

If you are looking for beautiful valley scenery and as a base for Plitvice and Velebit then it is ideal. The area is good value for money and Otocac itself has a good choice of grocery stores, bars and bakeries. The restaurant choice is a bit limited, with most places doing a very similar menu, so for longer stays this could be an issue.

To be honest - I most liked the apartment. we came in the winter, used it as a stop over on the way to Split and were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and comfort we found there. Apartment is well appointed and had everything we needed.

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see.
Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see. Natural beauty takes your breath away. It was the higlight of our tour, because we have never seen a reserve like this. Jezerce is only 5-10 minutes drive from on of the entrances to the park.
Jezerce itself is beautiful and reminiscent of the Swiss Alps.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great. The owner was there to answer any questions and help you get settled in. The room are all new and very well set up. The beds were great. My wife and I would sleep to much.

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

We were there in April and went just for Plitvic lakes, it was quite cold in the morning & evening, glad we had our puffer jackets. An absolute bonus was the gorgeous little village of Rastoke, stunning and the best food of our entire 2 weeks in Croatia.

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and numerous waterfalls. It is an incredibly beautiful place. There are walkways between the lakes, sometimes of wood (over water) and sometimes of dirt and stone. The wood walkways are not wide and if crowded it can be difficult to pass. But the walkways allow the visitor to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the waterfalls and lakes. Our hike, which included stopping for photos, lasted 2 hours, and we selected a short trail. We could easily have spent a full day at the Park. There were four of us and we agreed that we had never seen a place like Plitvice.

Otočac is a beautiful small town in the valley of the Gacka river that offers excellent opportunities for a good vacation. The beautiful scenery of the river Gacka, its springs, the possibility of walking and jogging in nature or hiking in the nearby National Park North Velebit, are good reasons to come to this beautiful town in Lika.
And if you find yourself in Otočac, be sure to stop by the pizzeria Ruspante in Sinac, in the immediate vicinity of the picturesque Majerovo Vrel. There you will try one of the best pizzas in Croatia.

Stayed for 1 night whilst passing through. Few nice little bars and churches. Struggled to find anywhere to eat that wasn’t fast food. Managed to find 1 restaurant which had home cooked food which was good.
