This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. The view of the mountains from the room is breathtaking . I highly recommend it.

The most stunning views, bon fires 🔥 in front of your cabins that the staff prepare every night, beautiful staff, infinitely pool in front of Mt Batur Volcano, cabins with glass walls with volcano and lake views. Amazing when it rains. I enjoyed a very spacious private garden with large outdoor bathtub . They have cheaper cabins with shared bathrooms but I stayed in Cabin 3 with a private bathroom smack in front of the volcano! Just amazing🩷👍

The room was immaculate, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The bed was plush, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the view of the surrounding landscape was breathtaking. All staff at Ruma Mahavidna were outstanding. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, they went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. Next hotel's amenities, including the outdoor swimming pool and beautifully maintained garden, provided a tranquil retreat after a day of exploring. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, with a variety of options catering to different dietary preferences. We loved the location that ideal for those looking to explore the natural beauty of the area, with attractions like Mount Batur Sunrise and Hot Spring Pool within easy reach. Overall, our stay at Ruma Mahavidna was nothing short of perfect. We left feeling rejuvenated and look forward to returning in the future.

Loved our 3 night stay at Tapa Agung. A bit of track, which we liked. But really close to Besakih temple, the local night market was a great experience, we came back twice. The view on the green lush la escape and amount Agung (when it's not cloudy) is gorgeous. Staff was amazing, Ratna, Manis, Dwi and the rest. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend anyone who wants some quiet time in a beautiful surrounding

We had an amazing experience at Cinze Villas. The hot water pools, each with a different temperature is a unique concept, is a wonderful idea and incredibly relaxing, especially at night. I suggest taking day trips to explore the rural area during the day, then enjoying the villa in the afternoon and evening, when the atmosphere becomes truly magical. During the day, you might notice some flies around the hotel, but this is due to the surrounding farmland, where natural compost is used, which attracts them. It can get a bit chilly at night, so I recommend bringing a light jacket, but soaking in the hot pools under the night sky is an unmissable experience. The staff is lovely, and the food is excellent, a mix of Indonesian and Western dishes (be sure to try the chicken parmigiana!). We really hope to come back soon.

We stayed for one night ,the location and the room where fantastic, I believe the fly is common in batur area and the staff were being extra careful to cover the food properly.if I'm not mistaken we had thilapia fish it was very well served and the taste were top-notch. And the breakfast were served with love,the kids hot water pool was nice. Next time coming with more people to use campfire too.

The view from witari is breathtaking. The sunrise and sunset from here is the same as from mouth batur trek. The owner is extremely sweet and helping with all the other arrangements you need. Rooms are big and spacious .

Location and view. Amazing hot tub!

We felt incredibly welcome at Tegal Sari. The owners are really nice people, the room was clean and comfortable, we had no issues with hot water or anything. They provided drinking water, a teapot, hairdryer and everything we may need to feel comfortable. There are stairs to go down but it won’t be a problem if you’re fit enough. The breakfast was simple and delicious, they even served it very early in the morning for us not to leave hungry 🥹

Magical place suspended in a steep slope of the forest, just outside the caldera of Mt. Batur. The wooden cozy villas, the details, the yoga terrace, the sento hot bath, the treetop restaurant, everything just made me want to stay. And the warmth and care of the staff was 5 star.

Amazing magical view from the bed and from the terrace. Good quality amenities. The owners were very helpful, thank you! There is a restaurant 5 min walking (they can get you by motorbike for free) which has good food and very nice views

Amazing location in the mountain,its a bit harder to find on Google maps so make sure you find the indomart next door as my driver got lost. Pomo was so hospitable and amazing. He's an amazing host.welcome drink and breakfast.

The view is fantastic while you are at natural hot springs! The guys who were taking care of everything were so amazingly helpful 🙏

The hotel is also surrounded by many beautiful sights, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local attractions without having to travel far. Overall, it was a peaceful and scenic escape, and I’d happily return for another stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty in comfort.

The room were nice and clean, it also had a great view over Mount Batur and the fields.
