Had a wonderful stay at Arkaluna with my girlfriend for 4 days and nights. The glamping pod was fantastic, a real experience. And the outside bathtub with fantastic privacy all round meant that we could enjoy a morning bath watching the sun rise over the mountains of Bali... A truly magical experience. The staff were wonderful as well, super attentive and Agus ran us into town and back again 3 or 4 times, for absolutely no charge. So friendly and helpful. Also there's loads of hot water in the shower (They have huge water tanks which is unusual for Bali) and the bed was very comfortable indeed.

What an incredible experience we had Spectacular view, very welcoming and friendly staff Great view from the bedroom. Ras kindly made a fire for us at night, which created such a beautiful ambiance to enjoy the night sky full of stars. Cannot recommend this place enough. 11/10.

Amazing magical view from the bed and from the terrace. Good quality amenities. The owners were very helpful, thank you! There is a restaurant 5 min walking (they can get you by motorbike for free) which has good food and very nice views

Asli Bali is a little paradise outside Ubud and located in Bagli. If you are planning to visit Mount Batur, Kintamani and lots of waterfalls. It is a hidden gem. Like staying in Jungle. The family who owns and maintain this are awesome, lovely staff. They can manage your tours, rent a bike on premise, food on premise. So, you are sorted! Breakfast was really good, lunch and dinner available if you need it.

An advantage is that the water depth in the swimming pool gets deeper the further you go and the water itself is hot, so swimming during sunny day is not an option. This place is located close to the lake and other atractions nearby. For this price it was okay, but rooms definitely need some renovations, or at least cleaner linen and mosquito nets.

The views of Lake Batur and Mt Batur from kintamani is...

The views of Lake Batur and Mt Batur from kintamani is lovely. We stopped at Starbucks for a change from the Bali coffee, and sat outside soaking up the view. We then went to the convenience store next door, and they also had a balcony outside to sit and enjoy the view. There are many restaurants with views, just take your pick. But if you’re after a cheap and cheerful place to sit unhounded by sarong sellers, the convenience store was the best. It’s easy to get around,however going up and down to the lake, you get stuck behind slow laden trucks going a maximum of 10km/hr.

It's crazy how corrupted the locals are, we were stopped few times (3 times to be precise) asking for entrance fees. Only westerners are charged but any local / asian do not get charge as my wife been there before without me, she didn't get stopped nor get charged.

The people was the best I had several spa days which were wonderful the jeep adventure was not done well they picked me up at 4 am drove to a spot to watch the sunset arrived at 5 am then waited in the dark no sunrise it was cloudy. Later was taken to the hot springs which was worth the trip.

We did 2 days which is more than enough, nothing really to see at the lake, and if you do go to temple, as usual pay to enter, pay sarong, and it’s dirty and pretty average. Mount Batur is however beautiful to view from Kintamani, the Specialty Coffee place was a cool looking establishment will terrible coffee! And as usual a odour that will scare you off. The township is so dirty, all their waste is put over the side of the hill. Sad to see so much neglect and waste dumped in this area which has so much beauty around.
