The breakfast was very extensive and they prepared what we wanted. We also had lunch and dinner there which were both very tasty. It is a small and friendly resort with a lovely swimming pool.
The fire fly tour is highly recommended.

The beach is a 15-minute drive away and activities are well taken care of. The facilities in the hotel are great, swimming pool and massage were very nice. The hotel is very flexible. You don't have to book an activity in advance, it can be done at any time. The resort is only 1 hour from the ferry terminal. The food is delicious at the resort! My best experience in Asia!

Easy to move around with grab to places for food , massage,etc. Value for money hotel,has all you need , but for that very good price , do not expect top notch service, especially the breakfast spread that was included.

The room was super clean, the food was delicious in both restaurants of the hotel we were in, the staff of the hotel are unbelievable, they are extremely friendly and welcoming. They make this place really fantastic and they do a wonderful job. When we saw the beach we were just « speechless ». This is really an idyllic spot. Be sure to have enough place on your mobile phone for pictures. We saw beautiful birds of all colors and even monkeys in the trees. We truly enjoyed our stay and will for sure come back. We were on holiday in Singapour with a 3 nights hop over here in Bintan Cassia. I definitely recommend this place….

The villa was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable and the private pool was great fun. The location was very peaceful, and we didn’t hear any noise overnight. Beds were comfortable and rooms were really nicely done. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They helped us to arrange transfers to activities we wanted to do on the island. The beach here was quiet, clean and very beautiful. The hotel food was nice and the restaurant has a lovely beach view. There are also food options in Lagoi which is only 5mins away in a taxi and the taxi cost very little. The hotel arranged taxis for us which made it super easy to pop in when we wanted to pick bits up. Information online is fairly scarce about Lagoi, so for info we found warung yeah! Which is a reasonably priced eatery offering a pretty extensive menu at a smaller cost than the resort hotels, and we found a bbq place in Lagoi. There are also some street vendors selling world food options, again for a good price. There is also a bar but that was on the pricey side. You could easily eat in Lagoi for a good price. Alternatively if travelling further afield the restaurants at Nirwana Gardens were lovely and about 15mins away by taxi. We really enjoyed our stay overall.

I enjoyed very much my stay in The Residence Bintan. The staff was very friendly, hospitable and polite. I felt that they were genuinely looking after me. I felt at home.
I loved that the room and the bathroom was so spacious. The bed was very comfy. I could even choose my pillow menu. I stayed in an upper sea view room that had a hammock in the balcony that was fun.
I enjoyed very much the BBQ on the beach on Sunday evening. The hotel could perhaps better promote these initiatives, for instance through its WhatsApp.
I was pleased to see that the hotel tried to reduce the use of plastic, particularly for water in the rooms. In addition to the regular cleanup by staff every morning, it could consider organising daily beach cleanups with guests as the sea unfortunately brings plastic waste to the shore with the tide. It would be fun too!
This was the first time that I stayed in a hotel that regarded solo travelers VIPs. Wow & bagus! (Dear The Residence Bintan, perhaps you could consider this policy when charging for an excursion too. 😉 One pax is one pax, particularly when joining two other fellow travelers. )

The private beach is great. The service crew and staff definitely went the extra mile during our stay.
My husband dropped his phone in the land transfer car, after we had checked out and have already reached the ferry terminal. Called the hotel reception and they managed to contact the driver and he had the phone delivered back to us. A very big thank you and grateful for this!

Very good transportation between the ferry terminal and the hotel. Staffs are very nice and kind.
They're very detailed and organized. Breakfast provided is fresh and tasteful. Drivers are also easy to approached.

Lagoi is a great getaway place, and only an hour by ferry from Singapore. A wide variety of accommodation and many places to eat. We also went to the sand dunes and 'Blue lake' at Telaga Biru/Gurun Pasir Bintan.

TP is not really a tourist place.
TP is not really a tourist place. The infrastructure is not really developed and the rubbish and water pollution is not under control.
Its certainly interresting to see a third world country , but without any help of local people a foreingner is lost.

We were happy to spend time there relaxing, enjoying the resort amenities and eating in the resort restaurants.
I'm unsure if anything else in the area is worth visiting or any good.

It was a very relaxing trip.
It was a very relaxing trip. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room which faces the sea. We also enjoyed the snorkeling trip, the staff who went with us helped us to take pictures underwater. The equipment provided was safe and also adequate. The whole resort feels tranquil. Would be better if there is a gym.

It is a place for rest. The hotel has everything necessary for those who go to work, especially in the yard, which is about 20 minutes away. The arrival and departure of the hotel in relation to work is very simple.

Not much of tourism destination. But food is excellent and cheap. A great choice of seafood lover. Lack of convenience public transport for tourist. Local people are tremendously nice . Spent your time to visit Penyengat island which is nearby for a culture and heritage experience !

We arrived via ferry and the hotel organised all the transport from ferry terminal to the hotel and then back again when we left- this was amazing and really useful! Staff were super friendly, we were able to do everything we wanted and it was not super busy so always space to eat and sit by the pool.

I had a great experience in Lagoi overall.
I had a great experience in Lagoi overall. The hotel was very nice—clean, comfortable, and relaxing. No complaints at all about the hotel or the beach; both were beautiful and well-maintained, perfect for a peaceful getaway.
However, the shopping and dining options within Lagoi were quite limited. It would have been nice to have more variety in restaurants and shops to explore. Also, transportation to go outside of Lagoi was quite expensive, which made it a bit challenging to get around or experience more of the area beyond the resort zone.
Still, if you're looking for a quiet, beachside escape with a great place to stay, Lagoi is a solid choice.
