JapanI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was very impressed with the hospitality of the staff, especially Linda and Erix. They were very friendly and helpful, and made me feel like I was at home.
The hotel is very child-friendly, and my kids loved playing in the pool and on the beach. The staff was always happy to help with anything we needed, and they made sure that we had a great time.
The facilities are well-maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. I enjoyed chilling in the room opening the window and feeling gentle sea breeze.
I also had the opportunity to go on the firefly tour and the ATV tour, which were both amazing.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. I am already planning my next trip back, and I can't wait to try the snorkeling that Linda recommended.

MalaysiaThe staff were all amazing. Friendly, warm, and welcoming - they made us feel comfy right away. They were all great but a special shout-out to Putra at the hotel restaurant who went out of his way to have the kitchen prepare a herbal remedy for us to cure a headache. Thanks Putra!
The hotel's food was also amazing - a great breakfast buffet that changed everyday with a focus on local flavours. Dinner was also great with some authentic Indonesian dishes.
Also the location - if you're looking for quiet, this is a good bet. The beach isn't very busy (and the hotel makes an effort to clean it every morning from the tidewash and seaweed), though there are no lifeguards.
There's a stripmall within 2 mins walking distance, prob 20% occupied at best but with a couple of great warungs if you want a bite to eat outside, or grab a few items from the convenience mart.

The area where the villa is located is far from the port however it is peaceful and quiet. It was a really good place to relax. I also loved the 3 cats who live on the property. Easy to move around with grab to places for food , massage,etc. Value for money hotel,has all you need , but for that very good price , do not expect top notch service, especially the breakfast spread that was included.
I would still give it a 10. Will use this hotel again and highly recommend to others.

1. Check in & check out process
- the front desk staff are very helpful. They greet everyone with smiles & they make sure everyone have a great experience during their stay / activity. KUDOS to Ms.Vivi & Mr. Yanu and others because they are friendly & treat everyone patiently eventhou its peak season.
2. Facilities & activity
- Our room is very spacious and the bathroom is my fav because it have the natural lighting.
- In the morning, i get to feed the fishes at the lake which make me feel very relaxed seeing the fishes swimming around beautifully.
- the bicyles are free for check in guest which i use to ride around the camp.
- i also take the ATV package which include archery & paddle boats.
- My guide during the ATV is cheerful guy whom take a lots of our pictures & video.
3. Food (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
- the food are affordable & delicious.
- i really love Dirty Duck, Tamarind Soup, the Chicken Porridge in the menu.

We appreciated the free upgrade given to us. The staffs are very friendly, professional and polite. The restaurant had a very good selection of food and very affordable. The food was delicious and filling. Definitely heading back there again. They also have a wide range of outdoor activities to cater to those that love climbing and hiking.

Lagoi is a beautiful place & not a known destination to many...
Lagoi is a beautiful place & not a known destination to many. Its just about 1 hr ferry ride from Singapore. Indians get visa on arrival at Indonesia, so the immigration is pretty smooth. There are many branded hotels in the area & best is the access to beach. The beach is very clean with clear & shallow waters. There are many restaurants & shopping in the area. The sightseeing is very good & well maintained. You get easy transport & even Grab works here. I recommend this place to all.

We stayed in the resort for everything, so can't really comment on anything else in the area.
We were happy to spend time there relaxing, enjoying the resort amenities and eating in the resort restaurants.
I'm unsure if anything else in the area is worth visiting or any good.

TP is not really a tourist place.
TP is not really a tourist place. The infrastructure is not really developed and the rubbish and water pollution is not under control.
Its certainly interresting to see a third world country , but without any help of local people a foreingner is lost.

It was a very relaxing trip.
It was a very relaxing trip. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room which faces the sea. We also enjoyed the snorkeling trip, the staff who went with us helped us to take pictures underwater. The equipment provided was safe and also adequate. The whole resort feels tranquil. Would be better if there is a gym.

It is a place for rest. The hotel has everything necessary for those who go to work, especially in the yard, which is about 20 minutes away. The arrival and departure of the hotel in relation to work is very simple.

I was able to witness a local wedding and was welcomed by...
I was able to witness a local wedding and was welcomed by the community.
Met with the local indigenous tribe Orang Laut (Sea Gypsy) and learned a lot about their culture.
Staying for a month I did miss the western food sometimes, but I found an amazing coffee shop with French pastries which would not be out of place in Melbourne.
The seafood was very tasty in other restaurants.
People are very friendly and accommodating. Much less crowded than Bali and cleaner.
I would definitely visit again.

Lagoi is a great getaway place, and only an hour by ferry from Singapore. A wide variety of accommodation and many places to eat. We also went to the sand dunes and 'Blue lake' at Telaga Biru/Gurun Pasir Bintan.

We arrived via ferry and the hotel organised all the transport from ferry terminal to the hotel and then back again when we left- this was amazing and really useful! Staff were super friendly, we were able to do everything we wanted and it was not super busy so always space to eat and sit by the pool.

Not much of tourism destination. But food is excellent and cheap. A great choice of seafood lover. Lack of convenience public transport for tourist. Local people are tremendously nice . Spent your time to visit Penyengat island which is nearby for a culture and heritage experience !
