The thing we liked the most was the staff. We have experienced friendly staff in a lot of places, but here people go out of their way to be the friendliest staff possible. Great service, always a smile, thinking with us, giving great tips and recommendations and everyday a great job. Other than that we liked the food, the rooms, the overall service, the location. Would definitely return here.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The accommodation was clean, beautifully designed, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet—perfect for a restful getaway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist with cheerful smiles, making us feel genuinely welcome. The food was delicious; I especially loved the special Nasi Goreng, Rissoles, and refreshing fresh orange juice. I was lucky to have a room with a lake view—absolutely stunning and serene. It added a peaceful charm to the whole experience. I would happily return and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Had a very good time here, is a bit outside the city and less busy. Rooms were cheap, food was good, also inexpensive. I rented a motor-bike from them for low-speed island scouting, also cheap. Isac helped us a lot & in depth with travel arrangements, Everybody else was also very kind, as is the whole island. Generally, the worst thing that can happen in Sumatra, is that people will be upset with themselves after a language misunderstanding. How anyone would be angry with people so genuinely nice all the time, I don't know ;-)

The host, Dimmer, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, included transportation to/from the island, scooter rental etc. He was always available in person and by phone to answer questions. The room was huge with a great big balcony with amazing view, very clean with new furniture. Access to the lake and a great swimming spot. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic location waterside property with great views of village across the bay. Ferry delivers right to the hotel! Super host, helped us with many needs, including a ride to early ferry! Breakfast a highlight with restaurant views.
