Our hostess was very helpful pre booking an excellent restaurant in the village which served our family one of the best meals we enjoyed during our trip. She also asked her friends about the possibility of our seeing sheep shearing or watching sheep dogs working with their handlers, but farmers were harvesting hay during our time in that area of Ireland. The breakfast was delicious, and her elderly mother had made Irish soda bread. We would definitely recommend Coulagh Bay in Eyeries as a delightful place on the gorgeous Beara peninsula.

The multi-generational Innkeepers were the authentic, West Cork, Ireland experience. Allihies is a tiny, rural, and spectacularly beautiful little village in the most beautiful part of Ireland's Beara Peninsula. The Inn, and Innkeepeers, have been hosting travelers there for generations, and their down-home professionalism shows in every little detail. It's not fancy - nothing is in that part of Ireland - but it was exactly what we wanted.

It was just a few minutes drive from Glengarriff, making it accessible for dinner. The room was comfortable and provided enough room to spread out my things. The hosts were willing to answer any questions about the area. There is a lot to see and do in the Beara Peninsula so staying a couple nights is recommended.

This site has been in the host's family for 4 generations. Hostess was very gracious and friendly. The house has terrific views of coast and inlet. Location is central to Beara Peninsula and great jumping off point for hiking and further exploration. I would definately recommend this property.

What an amazing place Sea Villa is and what fantastic hosts John & Mary are. They are very friendly and welcoming. Mary prepared a wonderful meal for us, you could fault nothing. A wonderful breakfast as well. We can't thank them enough for a great experience on the Beara Peninsula 😀😀

This location was easy to find, which was what we needed after a long day of travel overseas. Mary was very welcoming and very helpful in showing us what was available in town and nearby. The room was large, comfortable and offered a great nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious and prepared us for a day of exploring on the Beara Peninsula. Met a couple at breakfast that offered some ideas of what to see in the area to add to what we already had planned to do. The second night was equally grand. The location is quiet--at least at this time of year the week before the kick off the summer tourist season. A great selection of restaurants and bars downtown. Very charming, local community. The Beara Peninsula was a new area for us, but we will definitely be back to check out more it has to offer.

This place is incredible. I'll refrain from turning this review into a novel and stick to some bulletpoints. Irene is very welcoming and informative. The rooms have everything you need to feel at home. The location itself is breathtaking, not to mention the drive to and from. There's a ton to do and see in the surrounding areas if you're looking for adventure but just as well for staying in and having a picnic or walk to the beach. If you're hoping to have a really special, relaxing and gorgeous trip you will not be disappointed.
