Kinsale is one of my favourite places in Ireland, we love the chilled vibe of the town, the quirky streets and shops, fantastic coffee shops, bakeries, craft shops and of course its famous restaurants. I would recommend the walking Tour (Jason's) that leaves from the Visitor Centre, and the fantastic Harbour Boat Tour, and if your mobile a visit to Cork City and the beautiful and historic town of Cobh.Guest review byDonalUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Great buzz in the town.
Great buzz in the town. We visited Clonakilty black pudding factory. We enjoyed the tour. Pauline looked after us very well . She is friendly & informative. We enjoyed the tea & breakfast food. We went back into the town to see the Twomey butcher shop. The square at the Michael Collins Statute is lovely there was market with interesting crafts.Guest review byPatricia - 10.0

Went there specifically re-live my grandparent’s emigrating experience from there—and the Queenstown experience next-door at the Cobh Heritage Center was so much more than I ever had hoped for! I left feeling I had a better idea of what my Dad and grandmother had gone through.Guest review byPatUnited States - 8.0
The whole stay was excellent.
The whole stay was excellent. Eden Crest is outside of the town of Bantry, where the eating places are. Fine if you are a good walker, it’s not too far so it wouldn’t be expensive to get a taxi if you didn’t want to drive in.Guest review byMaryUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Was in line at the Blarney Castle when it opened and was able to make my way directly to the Blarney Stone which meant I didn't have to wait in a long line up. It was interesting to explore the castle and learn about the history and purpose of the rooms. The gardens at the castle were nice to walk around as well and the stables were impressive.Guest review byMary S.Canada - 10.0

First Class - excellent staff throughout the Hotel - highly professional and friendly with it. Main dining room has to be experienced - attendance is an event in itself. Lovely food served in a timely way. Waiting staff are great to watch at work and they do what they do in a quiet but showy way. Lovely to sit in the hall and enjoy the two log fires and the comfy arm-chairs. A relaxing stay at a lovely hotel in a great location. Old fashioned but we like it that way - no squeaky floorboards - calm and quiet.Guest review byAlasdairUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We spent little time during the day in Skibbereen itself.
We spent little time during the day in Skibbereen itself. We selected it as a central point to stay as we explored Mizen Head and other areas in the region. In the evening we went to The Corner Bar to listen to trad music. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful time.Guest review byMichaelUnited States - 8.0
We were only passing through and stayed for one night.
We were only passing through and stayed for one night. It's an easy place to find your way around in. Has a number of good pubs for a drink or two and good restaurants. We had an excellent dinner at Salinas Bistro which does a mix of Middle-Eastern and Irish dishes.Guest review byJanetCanada - 6.0
The proximity to Ballyhass water park was very convenient.
The proximity to Ballyhass water park was very convenient. Unfortunately, the restaurants close very early (between 9 and 10 pm). So it is very difficult to get a decent late meal. We would recommend the Khao Asian restaurant, it was fantastic. We would NOT recommend rhe Hibernian Hotel. The food is absolutely awful.Guest review byColmIreland
