- From $186.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 1,010 reviewsThe property was so beautiful, and it always made you feel like you where at home. It is big and spacious. From the moment we checked in till the moment we checked out it was amazing I cannot fault anything on the northern hotel. From the staff all the way up to managers they were amazing. If you have a indigenoused or diagnosed child with a medical condition the northern hotel is the place to be. They make you feel your apart of them and the hotel is yours to. Any problem you had the front desk always went out of there way to help you with that problem and never had an attitude or a face on them. I found a problem with the cold tap in the bathroom and rang down to let them know only 2 minutes of me putting the phone down they were at my door and apologizing the other time I went down to front desk and like that oh I am so sorry let me get that fixed for you. My partner is in a wheelchair for long distance and the hotel was more than adequate to cope with it. Oh don’t get me started on the food, it was amazing just out of this world. I could never fault the food and the food portions were great you could get 1 dinner for 2 people. I cannot even remember any other hotel that we have stayed in that was so helpful and pleasant to help. They were so understanding of our circumstances with our child been autistic and so patient with him and really interacting with he loved it never met a hotel like it. When we were checking out we were looking for a taxi the normal taxi the hotel uses was not working. The other girl went out of her way to ring I think her dad as he is a taxi driver to try and get us a taxi. We have never experienced that before people going out of there way to help us in a hotel stay. I wanna say thank you to Alannah, Kayleigh, and the other 2 girls that I forget there names.Guest review bydaielIreland
- From $187.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,053 reviewsI asked if they offered any surprise services for newlyweds as a surprise to my wife. I was looking to see if I could buy something from the hotel for them to leave in our room. However, when we arrived, they had left a bottle of sparkling wine and some glasses for us. After about an hour of us being there, we also received a knock at the door where a waiter had brought us a cheesecake to share. It was really lovely and me and my wife were so impressed. We were planning on going into Donegal Town to find somewhere for our evening meal but because of how much we liked our experience, we stayed in the hotel and we both had steak from the bar restaurant. It was incredible. We stayed on for drinks in the bar where there was a singer on called Davy K. He was brilliant too, and apparently he is doing every Monday there over the summer. So I would definitely recommend it.Guest review byGlynUnited Kingdom

Donegal is a beautiful county and the people go to great effort to ensure that visitors have a good experience. Unfortunately the inclement weather and constant mist cannot be controlled. This of course might be the attraction for some visitors. Good food available in bars throughout the county.Guest review byBredaIreland - 10.0

The view is not great from the rooms but very centrally located Uber charged us 20euro return into the centre maybe if we asked the hotel reception a local can may have been cheaper as it was only a few minutes walk but we had mobility issuesGuest review byStephanieUnited Kingdom - 4.0

While there are still great attractions for children and families in Bundoran, the town itself and the buildings have become very dilapidated. One example of this is Bay View House B and B where we stayed for many years once a building that was always so beautifully kept, but its exterior wasn't painted, there were clothes hanging out windows to dry and the once beautiful gardens unkept, upsetting to see for such a once beautiful building in such a prime location. The streets were full of litter and there are now so many fast food outlets with only a couple of nice places to sit snd eat left in the town. We eat in Maddens on the Bridge and got a fantastic meal there.Guest review byMichaelIreland - 10.0

A lovely and lively small town, with friendly people and plenty of festivals happening, as well as fantastic walks and hikes in the lowlands and foothills around, or the Blue stack mountains a short drive away. Recommend the Corner House or the Beehive Bar for live music, and recommend the cafe in the Heritage Centre for brunch, lunch and snacks.Guest review byDermotSpain - 10.0

Next time we go to Buncrana we shall enjoy going on the ferry. We will enjoy looking inside the large household store on the main street and we shall try to time it so that we can enjoy some of the many musical festivalsGuest review byPatriciaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The spa was the best.
The spa was the best. Booking treatments before hand is needed but the facial was amazing as were the massages. The food was lovely in the hotel restaurant, we were not disappointed. When wanting to try something new we walked 5min to Nancys Barn for even more gorgeous food. Beach was in walking distance with a lovely view and nice walking path.Guest review byMollyIreland - 8.0

There wasn’t enough places to have a meal in the evenings everywhere closed early. No live music in pubs but we were told that it was too early in the season. Spring and Summer I think the pubs would be more livelyGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Although only there for a short while Bunbeg has all the ingredients of the mystic west. The sunset was spectacular over the beach. Bád Eddie (Eddies boat) on Bunbeg's Magheraclogher beach, in Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore) is a must see. The official story is that the boat was stranded on the beach but we heard from a good source that Eddie did it deliberately. He beached the boat in order to fit a new engine but he was going through a divorce and his wife asked for her share of the boat so he never repaired it.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom
