The location is beautiful and peaceful. You get a taste of the real Italy, almost no tourist and certainly no tourist traps. Little supermarket just down the road and nice little restaurant. The surroundings are stunning, the house itself is a masterpiece of modern renovation while keeping the original atmosphere intact.
We forgot a couple of t-shirts and Lalo was so friendly to mail them to us.
Just a great stay, 10 out of 10!

At 1400 m.a.s.l. the place is perfectly sited both for skiing and for walking/hiking. Unfortunately, they are far from good in advertising it. You have to find out by yourself the wonderful trails (there is a not advertised app), many going up to some 2000 m.a.s.l.

A beautiful and magical stay in an ancient tower overlooking the quaint village of Fiumalbo. Clean, comfortable and beyond enchanting. Mario is a wonderful host. If your travels take you here, do not miss out on Storica Rivera!

We enjoyed are stay.
We enjoyed are stay. We came for the Italian Junior Championships. The ski area looks amazing. We even drove by the famous Monte Cristo on our way here. The day lodge was friendly to racers and had amazing typical paninis and good coffee. oh and the tap water is very delicious.

This was such a charming place.
This was such a charming place. It was such a wonderful surprise. The room was like staying at a family members home. The breakfast was the best in all our travels. Our host was kind and helpful. I hope to be going back and will definitely stay here again.
