It is a beautiful old building in a perfect location only 10 minutes from the port and the main beach. The staff are very professional and incredibly helpful.

Amazing position and staff. They were helpful and friendly making our stay the best so far. The location was a short walk to a secluded beach. Rajesh was available and happy to drive us to the port for dinner and our 6am ferry.

The location , people and facilities all exceptional

It was a bit difficult to get to the hotel from the port for those of us who don't drive. It would have been better if the breakfast was served earlier.

Quiet location just a few meters from the beach, friendly staff, great breakfast and 2m+ bed!

Wonderful view and location lovely staff and a great restaurant

The hotel is very centrally located with fabulous views of the city. It looks like nothing has been done about the building since Napoleon but it's not falling apart or dirty, just has a certain charm. All you need. The staff was very nice and flexible. I arrived with/by bike, which I could store in a locked courtyard and the landlady gave some recommendations for cycling trips. Elba in November is very empty, almost all museums are closed, but a nice place to slow down and enjoy time off.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Gilli. The facilities were exceptional, walking distance to a gorgeous beach and a delicious breakfast buffet. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. I would definetly come back and visit again. Thank you Hotel Gilli.

Amazing view from the terrace whilst having breakfast. Excellent breakfast and decaf coffee available. All staff very friendly and helpful. Shuttle service to and from the port every hour by request. Nice room with all the usual amenities including a smart TV and a small fridge. Plenty of coat hangers for your clothes. Short 5 minute walk to a sandy beach and a walking path up to the castle if you feel energetic. Giglio island is a great place with sandy beaches, a good network of walking paths and a regular bus service. My time here in May was perfect. Nice weather and not too busy - see note below

Clean, fair price and kind and helpful personnel

The hotel is located near the seafront promenade. Excellent and varied breakfast. Nice, helpful and very friendly personnel.

100% recommended. Fantastic breakfast (fruit, yogurt, juices, croissant, bread...), location, and nature around. Amazing place to seek some peace and a very warm welcome from the hosts. Expect wildlife and some insects, but it's completely normal. It's the charming of the place. The rooms have air-conditioning. There's a bar with super nice and cheap drinks (5€ for a well-balanced Spritz Aperol). I'm sad I can't stay longer since I've more accommodation elsewhere booked for my holidays.

Great location on a lovely beach, family run hotel with great staff and lots of returning customers. Parking on site, great rooms, not the best sea view but we did have a balcony. Delicious paninis for lunch, bar and sunny terrace
