Gambarie is a small town in Parco Nazionale dell’Aspromonte. The hotel is a 5 minute walk, from the centre of town,set in a peaceful location. The staff are customer driven, willing to create a ‘Calabrian’ experience, friendly yet remain professional. The buffet style breakfast has many options. Dinner is recommended for local choices - delicious. The service was excellent, very clean rooms ( great showers). and common areas. The big swimming pool a bonus!

Fantastic location with free parking nearby (because you literally can’t drive to the apartment). Very helpful and responsive host. Lovely apartment with beautiful bathroom, access to shared kitchen and everything available to self cater. Breakfast is provided at nearby cafe. Gorgeous village to explore on foot.

The acommodation is amazing, the rooms are clean and spacious and come equipped with everything you may need, the property is beautiful, set in the middle of a gorgeous valley. Everyone we met took great care of us and even though we were the only guests at the time since the main season did not start yet, they still fired up the kitchen just for us, we had an exceptional private dinner, and most of the produce and ingredients are home made and home grown. We will definitely come back next time we visit Calabria!
