"Very nice hotel, clean and in a quiet area. It has free parking space. Big room with air conditioner and comfortable bed, the shower is in a different room from the toilet wich is great. The employees are very friendly and professional. As some things to improve- the TV in the room has just italian channels. It would be nice to have at least one in English. Also, the minifridge in the room is tiny, can't keep a big bottle of water inside. As a conclusion, I will recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to travel to Napoli area."

"We loved the owners of the hotel that we stayed at but as for the town it was a dump with all due respect! It was way out of Naples and access to the beach is impossible without a car, not much affordable transport options in Italy. I would not return to Varcaturo and probably not Italy for that matter. This experience has put us off! The owners of our hotel are the only reason we would consider returning to Italy due to there warm hospitality but sadly wouldn’t stay there again solely due to the location."

"My wife hadn’t been to Telese for a very long time. Her mother was born there. Took our son to see her home town. We loved it. In fact we were saying how we could buy a place there. So pretty. Relaxing. Had lots of shops and eating choices. Had a wonderful meal at Osteria Addo Zi Teresa. Amazing food. Lovely strolling around town. The Thermal Bath park is a must see."

"I used to live here for 2 years. I like how it is more peaceful than Naples. The restaurants have very good food, especially the pizza a la lenio. I love the markets you have called mercantinos. I love the beaches as well. I don’t like the massive amount of traffic around 10am on Sundays. That’s only in the summer though. All in all I love lago patria."

Everything was PERFECT! Comfy, stylish, clean, spacy room with private bathroom, lots of space to store my belongings. Also huge private terrace with beautiful view on the city and arm chairs where you can chill. Breakfast was very tasty, especially croissants and coffee! Location very quiet, not directly in the city center but there is metro, train and bus connection nearby so there was no issue for me to access city center and other locations in Napoli. Ideal to get a rest from the city rush. Some coffee shops, pastry shops and pizza restaurants nearby are also available. Simona was always very helpful, caring, always available if there was any issue and made sure I had everything I need. If I will ever come back to Napoli I would choose this hotel again.

Staying at this hotel was the highlight of our trip to Naples. After a busy day in Naples and Pompeii, which were very crowded, loud and sometimes dirty, it was very nice to rest in the hotel. This is because the hotel is new, clean, quiet (when the windows are closed) and has many necessary things (e.g. you can drink filtered water from the tap). The host was super nice - he was not annoying, did not ask me to write this review and answered any questions that arose. The location is also good, because it is 5-10 minutes away from the best pizza places, and the place is also close to the bus and train station.

Wonderful location if you are looking place for relaxing and enjoying weather. Luxury hotel. All details in the interior with a lot of love and attention. For the value of money I don’t think so that possible get better. Far from Naples but if you have car it’s no problem. We was without car. Used taxi from Naples centre (costed 80eur), but in the hotek we stay 2 days so don’t spend so much. Hotel price is very very good, breakfast are perfect and included and for dinner we went to the hotel restaurant. Restaurant is very good and prices are friendly. In day time we used bar and snacks. If you planning in advance without car just take some extra snacks instead of dinner. Wonderful experience.

Villa Minieri was one of the best experiences we had during our stay in Naples. The villa was really quiet and we felt very safe and comfortable in Nola. The room had all we could need and was very clean. The bed was also really comfortable and it had a proper size. That was very important for us as we are both tall. The staff at the hotel were really nice and helpful, specially Adelaide. Every morning she would give us many tips for our trips around Naples. The staff at reception and even the cleaner were all really kind and helpful. We would definitely come back.

Caserta is a hidden gem.

Caserta is a hidden gem. A perfect stop over if you traveling from Rome to Naples or the other way around. Or it is possible to do a day trip by train. We bought the Campania Artecard 365 Lite for (26 Euros) which allowed us access to the Palace, Pompeii, Herculaneum and many more, great value if you are planning to see theses places and more. We loved the Caserta Palace and gardens, one of the best I have seen. If you have time hire an e-bike at the palace to see the vast gardens, take your time, there are hidden gems around every corner. Or you can get a ticket for a bus located just outside the Palace that takes you all the way to the top of the gardens get off there walk down through the picturesque gardens back to the Place or return with the bus. Everything is in walking distance from the train station, to both the town or Caserta Palace. It was very hot when we went so we found a pool and hired recliners and umbrellas and had a refreshing swim at C’era una Volta in America a God sent. Try the best Pizza we have ever had at a restaurant called Sasa Martucci recommended to us by the local. Wow

Nothing about the place is likable.

Nothing about the place is likable. I would not recommend it even to be used as a prison. From the first step walking nothing is likable about the place, the service is terrible, facilities are untidy and washed out. The appliances are not functional, the bed is not comfortable, there is no shower but a bathtub very small and warn out.

We loved the owners of the hotel that we stayed at but as for the town it was a dump with all due respect! It was way out of Naples and access to the beach is impossible without a car, not much affordable transport options in Italy. I would not return to Varcaturo and probably not Italy for that matter. This experience has put us off! The owners of our hotel are the only reason we would consider returning to Italy due to there warm hospitality but sadly wouldn’t stay there again solely due to the location.

It is a small, very attractive town with absolutely unique...

It is a small, very attractive town with absolutely unique ancient monuments: amphiteater where Spartacus once performed, good local museum and a Mithreum - trully exceptional. There is a number of cafes and restaurants - prices are very reasonable and food quality very high. It is an easy train ride (51 minutes) from Naples. 10 kilometers from it is Caserta with a monumental royal palace of Burbon kings of Naples - it is must see.

+parking, Il breakfast - check in starts at 17 hrs and earlier check in of just 2 hrs involved an extra.Eur 15 .plus shower cubicle not clean and low light in the room. L indirizzo su booking.com is totally different and needs to be amended.

Per our experience, the locals were friendly, helpful and accommodating where we had an issue with our vehicle. They helped us, even recommended a nearby shop and furthermore, the owner of the shop was receptive, helpful and accommodating and most importantly, the rate was reasonable.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Miramare hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was exceptionally clean to a very high standard, The Air Con also worked very well kept the room nice and cool during 35-degree heat. The room had double glazed French doors and quite Air Con, made for a relaxing quite room. There was also plenty of choice at the self service breakfast.

We went for the Duran Duran concert held at the Reggia which is spectacular but unfortunately the grounds are neglected. Caserta is charming. Best buffalo mozzarella in via Cristoforo colombo at the market.
