Went out of their way to make us comfortable (gluten free toast for my wife...hard boiled eggs on request) Held our luggage long past check out so we could spend the day at the Palace and not have to rush to pack up the car. Stay here! We had a really nice extra sized room ...worth it for comfort!

City is very nice, and all the main cultural attractions could be reached by walking without any problem. In the city center there are full of nice restaurants and pizzerias where everyone can enjoy a very good food with reasonable prices.

Caserta is a hidden gem.
Caserta is a hidden gem.
A perfect stop over if you traveling from Rome to Naples or the other way around. Or it is possible to do a day trip by train.
We bought the Campania Artecard 365 Lite for (26 Euros)
which allowed us access to the Palace, Pompeii, Herculaneum and many more, great value if you are planning to see theses places and more.
We loved the Caserta Palace and gardens, one of the best I have seen.
If you have time hire an e-bike at the palace to see the vast gardens, take your time, there are hidden gems around every corner. Or you can get a ticket for a bus located just outside the Palace that takes you all the way to the top of the gardens get off there walk down through the picturesque gardens back to the Place or return with the bus.
Everything is in walking distance from the train station, to both the town or Caserta Palace.
It was very hot when we went so we found a pool and hired recliners and umbrellas and had a refreshing swim at C’era una Volta in America a God sent.
Try the best Pizza we have ever had at a restaurant called Sasa Martucci recommended to us by the local. Wow

We went for the Duran Duran concert held at the Reggia which is spectacular but unfortunately the grounds are neglected. Caserta is charming. Best buffalo mozzarella in via Cristoforo colombo at the market.

we went to Gigi D'alessio live concert at the Royal palace gardens.
We dined at a family run restaurant Called Chichibio which i highly recommend. welcomed us with a glass of prosecco.
Easy to get arround the cobled street, lots of eating places spoilt for choice. ice cream parlour and patisserie cakesI about.
I recommend the Sfogliattella cakes to try, which is a neopolitan speciality.
We stayed entral of caerta walking distance to the train stationaa and buses.
i would avoid walking anywhere at lunchtimeas in the summer it gets very hot!

Caserta is a very underrated place to visit, but it must be seen on your travels. The palace is an unbelievable place. Check out the gardens, it is close to Napoli, Sorrento, and Capri, and an ideal location to base your Holiday. It has everything you need: Road Network, trains, and buses

The location was excellent, very central and convenient. The owner was extremely friendly and even welcomed the guests personally at breakfast, which created such a warm and authentic atmosphere. The place is full of charm and has a truly unique vibe. For this price, it could easily be considered a five-star hotel. I will definitely recommend it to others!

The staff was very friendly and professional.
The room was cleaned every day and clean towels were provided daily.
The room had a fridge, which was useful.
Aircon worked well, beds were confortable and there was a TV with lots of channels.
The hotel had a gated car park which felt really safe.
