The food is sublime, you have to have the taster menu option every single dish and every single mouthful was perfect. Coffee was amazing wine on tap red or white Priced prefect as to not break the bank E stayed for 3 nights and the beds were comfortable and extremely quite The view from some of the rooms overlooking the mountains were worth the extra price. Breakfast was good with a good selection of pastries and meats with hot Toasted bread.

The location is above the village, some 10 or 15 minute walk up a small road, quiet and peaceful, nearer to the tiny village of Castello than Riolunato. If you have an app on your phone to help you find it then it is a great help. The accommodation is rather sweet, fully equipped should you wish to self cater. The homemade cakes, biscuits, yoghurt etc were superb and very welcome. The bed was very comfortable, The host was very welcoming. There is only the one room so there is no one else to disturb your peace.

The Cimone skiing resort is actually pretty good, it was my...

The Cimone skiing resort is actually pretty good, it was my first time here and I wasn't disappointed. The slopes are nice and well mantained, and there are many restaurants and self services that offer pretty good food. Riolunato is the perfect destination because it is very close to the slopes, and the parking next to the chairlift is pretty big. I will definitely come back
