This is a brand new very modern hotel, located in Lorenzago with great view over the Dolomites, the hotel is amazing as it is new, clean, stylish, and the crew is very nice and welcoming. It has been a true pleasure staying in this hotel, the breakfast was great, the wine bar is amazing with large variety of wines and the rooms are extremely clean, large, comfort, large TV, - the best hotel I stayed during my visit to the Italian Dolomites.

Its pricy as you only get the room. No svimingpool, spa or other high end hotel services you would expect. But what you do get you cant replace with unnessesary junk. You are visiting the dolomites - go hike! What you need is some really fantastic velmade food from the chef who makes the best carbonara outside rome (he used to work in rome), when you get Home after a day in the mountain. We NEVER eat at the hotel restaurant - but in Cortina this is the best price/value and service. A receptionist who gives you a hug when you pay hotel tax :-) and a smile every we meet, a perfect designed hotel experience in every detail, the most fantastic view in the room and the restaurant, helpfull and friendly Morning staff who gives you advice on where to go depending on the weather and least but not last the dynamic evening duo: Andrea and Roberto. The perfect examples of professional evening hosts. Roberto with his excellent service - at the same time professional and personal - and making things happens and Andrea the magician who made actually professional magic tricks. Impressive and the perfect match enjoying the quality wine list. Just go!

This place is absolutely incredible. The room was a lovely old Italian room with character. We had an incredible view from our balcony. Everything was so clean and kept in such perfect condition. The staff were incredible and went above and beyond for us. The Sauna and spa was amazing after a long day hiking. And then of course the breakfast spread was amazing!! Cannot fault this place.

Simply amazing! We received a welcome drinks once we checked in and at the reception you are welcome with freshly baked cookies. Breakfast was exceptional, continental breakfast with plenty of choice (sweet and salty dishes). We also had dinner and we had a chance to enjoy antipasti - primo - secondo and caffè all served with wine white or red. Each evening there was a different choice from a la carte. Extremely helpful and friendly staff and waitresses. We’ve been all allowed a late check out - thank you for that! Hotel is also offering a free bus which brings you to the nearest ski lifts (Fertazza).

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay over Christmas. It feels like a home away from home - warm, cosy, comfortable and clean. The staff are exceptional. The food is great. There’s a bar. You can ski in/out from the back door and you can rent all your gear on site and leave them in the store room. It really has everything so you don’t need to go into Cortina at all if you don’t want to.

Cortina has the best of both worlds.

Cortina has the best of both worlds. Stunning mountain views with easy access to all the lifts to go up the mountains. It also has the glamour of the town centre. With plenty of bars and restaurants.

It was a stopover day between the Dolomites and Venice before flying home. I think we did everything in the town that there was to do in the one day. Walks would have been an option if we stayed longer.

Great base for exploring the Dolomites.

Great base for exploring the Dolomites. Lovely setting with mountains on all sides of the lake which was also very picturesque to stroll around or you could take a pedalo or a rowing boat. Recommended eateries: Quinz and Pizzeria Eidelweiss. Great if you wnat to join the queue for the car park for Tre Cime bright and early to ensure you get in.

We chose this place since we were looking for a room with...

We chose this place since we were looking for a room with air conditioning near Cortina d'Ampezzo. Boca di Cadora is a very small town , and it takes 15 minutes to get to Cortina D'amezzo , which is a central town and a better choice for day trips in the dolomit area. There was nothing to do in Boca di Cadora in the summer.

Mountains, landscape, stores, everything is amazing. Few but excellent restaurants, fully recommended Antiqua Pizzeria, hidden place with incredible plates, service and prices. Auronzo is a exquisite place where you can find peace and fresh air for a complete soul's renovation.

We had an absolutely perfect experience during our 5-day stay at Garni Civetta, tucked away in the stunning Italian Dolomites. From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel owners, a truly kind couple who made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring the beauty of the Dolomites. Very outdated Ski center, that probably had its glory days in the 70's. Modern day mechanics in terms of ski reachability, from tourist aspect, are not existing. Unless you are at a hotel with dedicated transport, the ski-in/ski-out experience is terrible. Ski busses are very scarce, with locations not suitable for most of apartments and rent houses. You must drive with a car every day to the main gondolas, which creates traffic jams every morning. Not to mention the overhead of paying everyday for a full day parking fees while you are skiing. This situation puts Cortina on the same level as any other low budget ski centers in Europe, which is hilarious given the fact that it will host Winter Olympic Games 2026. Skiing: Very good ski runs (red and black, FIS) - skiing is probably the only good spot in overall. Food: Compared to other nearby ski centers like Alta Badia, overrated and bad. Expected more from Italian hospitality, especially on the slopes (the food was one big joke (both in quality and quantity). Child Friendliness: There is one hilarious thing worth mentioning: When you buy Dolomiti SuperSki pass in AltaBadia, 3rd child is free. But when you buy the same tickets in Cortina, there is no discount for 3rd child??? Overall feeling compared to other expensive ski centers: Bad. Unless they make effortless way of going to ski without taking your own car every day, this is a no-go ski center. I cannot recommend it.

The location is in a quiet spot far from the business.

The location is in a quiet spot far from the business. The view from the balcony is magnificent. Everything is well maintained. We cooked our meals just like home. Grocery shops just a short walk from the unit.
