The hotel is run by the owners, who were concerned at all times that our stay was very comfortable... they made us feel at home! The location of the hotel is very convenient for touring the valley and the facilities are perfect. The room was very spacious for my wife and my one-year-old son. The breakfast was incredible, with local hams and cheeses, as well as a variety of typical cakes and strudels; and fresh fruit. If I were to return to the Dolomites, I would definitely come back here!

Excellent location, very close to Tre Cime d Lavorado, excellent hotel very clean, comfortable beds, spacious, beautiful views. Staff was very helpful and polite and helped us find good place for dinner. Sufficient parking space available and access from garage to the rooms can be by lift. We will highly recommend this place.

I absolutely loved staying at Hotel Tofana. The staff are all so kind and can’t do enough for you, the facilities are brilliant and the location is ideal - right on the ski slopes & only 10 minutes from Cortina town. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service into town which was very convenient. The spa is beautiful, it was the perfect set up after a log day of skiing. We opted for the half board option which I highly recommend, the food is amazing, you get 4 courses each night as well as a buffet. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone!

The location is just amazing! I think is the best one to explore Cortina area/ Sorapis/ Tre Cime/ Lake Di Braes/ etc. The service is also great. Everyone was always kind and willing to help. Our room has a wonderful view and the room was super comfortable as well with a nice balcony, hot shower and quiet surroundings. I really recommend this stay!

The location was terrific for renting equipment and getting right on the slope from the front door. Rooms were modern and beds super comfy, with a big balcony/patio. Great breakfast selection and delicious restaurant so you don't need to drive into town. We wanted more time to spend in the spa pools - next time!

Mountains, landscape, stores, everything is amazing. Few but excellent restaurants, fully recommended Antiqua Pizzeria, hidden place with incredible plates, service and prices. Auronzo is a exquisite place where you can find peace and fresh air for a complete soul's renovation.

The town is so wonderful I would like to die there. The people are exceptionally friendly to travelers. The restaurants—superb. Communication with other locations—efficient. Architecture—here, the alpine style meets the classic Italian. Views—mountains all around.

Great base for exploring the Dolomites.

Great base for exploring the Dolomites. Lovely setting with mountains on all sides of the lake which was also very picturesque to stroll around or you could take a pedalo or a rowing boat. Recommended eateries: Quinz and Pizzeria Eidelweiss. Great if you wnat to join the queue for the car park for Tre Cime bright and early to ensure you get in.

It was a stopover day between the Dolomites and Venice before flying home. I think we did everything in the town that there was to do in the one day. Walks would have been an option if we stayed longer.

We had an absolutely perfect experience during our 5-day stay at Garni Civetta, tucked away in the stunning Italian Dolomites. From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel owners, a truly kind couple who made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring the beauty of the Dolomites. On top of that, the value for money is amazing – we got much more than we expected in terms of comfort and hospitality.

A simple and quaint little Dolomite village on the edge of...

A simple and quaint little Dolomite village on the edge of what used to be Buchenstein in the distant past. The village bar/pizzeria is worth going to, as is the Belvedere Grill and Al Crot in Selva de Cadore. The walking in the area is amazing. The drive to Cortina de Amprezzo over the Passo Giau stunning.

We chose this place since we were looking for a room with air conditioning near Cortina d'Ampezzo. Boca di Cadora is a very small town , and it takes 15 minutes to get to Cortina D'amezzo , which is a central town and a better choice for day trips in the dolomit area. There was nothing to do in Boca di Cadora in the summer.

Cortina is a beautiful mountain village with plenty of services, restaurants, shops on top of the skiing and hiking options. The atmosphere is among the best mountain villages and we have been to many to compare. It still feels very Italian with typical locally owned "bars" that serve exceptional coffee and brioche for breakfast and reasonably priced snacks and drinks in the afternoons and evenings. Free buses to take you to the main ski lifts that operate every 15 minutes and everything else is in easy walking distance.

What a beautiful town, full of mountain charm.

What a beautiful town, full of mountain charm. The scenery and lake are stunning. There a a variety of food options and cute stores, but pay attention to hours of operation.we truly enjoyed the restaurant Moma, in the Hotel Diana and it’s sister restaurant, La Zupo up the mountain at the first gondola stop. The Fun Bob is a must, at the adventure park! They have great open air markets by the lake and have amazing food & items for sale.
