I loved my little one man room. Immaculately clean, well maintained, silent and with a view of trees. It looked like the Vincent Van Gogh room, from the famous painting and I was immediately charmed by it. My stay here was excellent. I had to recuperate from a 6 day intensive bike ride and I couldn’t have imagined a better place to be. They also have a restaurant, and it’s “fine cuisine Italian cuisine”. I recommend eating here. I decided to stay a second day and also visit the abbey nearby. The owners are so sweet, gentle and helpful. In fact I think they are angels. Very grateful to have found this place. It felt like a gift!

Very nice new facilities in an historic building. The room is modern and the provided breakfast is the best I've had in Italy. I am walking the Francigena, so to get there you have to go off a bit over some busy roads to get there. Not the safest. But once there, it's top notch. I also enjoyed the bar. (I didn't have dinner)

Albergo di Murlo enjoys a panoramic position halfway between Siena and Montalcino, both about 16 mi away. It features a relaxing garden and a large swimming pool.

We loved this out of the way family run hotel - great location, wonderful hosts, amazing food (Mama is a great cook everything was excellent), the room had a good view with a private balcony and the best shower 😊. They accommodated our bikes in a private storage.
