Really beautiful place.

Really beautiful place. The lake was warm enough to swim in July and lots of people were doing water sports. The ferry boat that traverses the lake is a great way to see the scenery and visit other villages along the lake. There are lovely and very reasonably priced restaurants and cafes within an easy walk and the people were allvery friendly and helpful. We recommend Bar Cinzia, Kiosko Idro and Gelateria Bounty in Lemprato. The town is well located to drive to other locations and there is lots to do nearby if you are outdoorsy. We definitely recommend a trip to Rocco d'Anfo. If you are fit and able-bodied I highly recommend the full tour. There are lots of steps but the history and views are worth it. There are several small shops within walking distance and a few supermarkets about 10 minutes drive away.
