The property was their family home and built at the turn of the century by their great-grandmother (I believe). If you're looking for an incredible value and an authentically Italian experience, look no further. They maintain their property with love and pride and everyone in town knows and respects them. The Staff all around was very Accommodating ! Any questions we had, they helped in every way. And was Fun sharing our Stories from over the Years. Thank you Emanuela And all The Staff !! We came for the 3rd time to this property, this time with 4 friends, because we love this place so much! Our friends fall in love with this property, as well. It's very special place, with the small private beach, only 10 rooms, each of them having their intimacy and with parking lots. Rooms are big enough, well equipped, nice decorated and each of them with nice terrace.

All the staff were amazing! Super friendly and informative. Great location with an amazing view of the ocean and lovely gardens for enjoying an afternoon of reading. The hotel is just short distance from the very busy town centre and the rooms were charming and spacious.

Marco is a fantastic host. He knows everything about the joy of La Madalenna. He provided us with tons of informations and recommandations. The apartment is very well located, very clean and comfy. The balcony is awesome to have dinner.

Spacious apartment with AC, dishwasher, comfy beds, gracious and helfpul hosts, and everything you'd need to enjoy La Maddalena. I'm not sure if there's new management or what, but I can't see why people are leaving negative reviews.

La Maddalena is an amazing place if you want a relaxing...
La Maddalena is an amazing place if you want a relaxing holiday focusing on beaches and nature. We spent there about a week and everyday went to a different beach, and every new beach was more beautiful than previous one!
There is a beautiful marine life, so bring your snorkeling gear! It was one of the biggest reasons we chose La Maddalena for holiday, and it exceeded our expectations! The best beaches for snorkeling where at La Caprera. Just swim next to the rocky edges of the beach, and you can find all the colorful fish there (also rogues and squids).

The house was fabulous!
The house was fabulous! Lovely views from the 2 balconies, clean and comfortable house, availability of beach towels and equipment was very handy.
Hosts provided detailed information about the area and terrific suggestions.

It is a great apartment with good space for 5 persons and a fabulous view of the sea and Porto Massimo.
The apartment complex was very quiet with just a few people when we were there from September 22-27.
The apartment had everything we needed although the oven did not work.
The windows have mosquito net frames which must be removed to close them.
The apartment is at the top of the hill with 100+ stairs from the main parking area.
Fewer stairs when parking at the back but then it takes another 5 min. through a small dust road.
You need a car to go shopping and to restaurants or the town 8 minutes away.
We had a great stay and would love to return.

The best place in Sardinia.
The best place in Sardinia. Cute Italian town with picturesque houses, great restaurants and the best gelato. We loved going from beach to beach, they all possess different qualities, but they are all lovely with the bluest water I’ve seen. You definitely need a car or a Vespa to get the best experience. Taking a boat trip for a day is also a must! Would strongly recommend spending a few days in La Maddalena!

The waters surrounding La Maddalena are stunning, the closest to the Caribbean I have experienced in the Mediterranean. La Maddalena is relatively small and easy to get around with a car. Depending on where you are staying, beaches may be within walking distance. Sailing or other boating outings highly recommended to truly enjoy all the islands have to offer.
