We went on a road trip through Slovenia, Austria, and Italy, and stayed at Hotel Vila Argentina for just one night. It was a lovely experience — the view of the Dolomites is breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade croissants, ham, and cheese. The hosts were very friendly and shared the fascinating history of the place.

I have visited Kaltern for many years now and just recently found this gem - by far my favourite new hotel in the village. It has been completely renovated and just opened. It's beautifully located in the middle of vineyards - yet its in the city center, with an amazing view of the village (and even the lake). The rooms were great: sizeable and very very cozy, furnished with taste and a lot of attention to detail. The hotel has its own wine bar & bistro, with great food and wine (breakfast was AMAZING!). All of the staff was super nice and accommodating. Will definitely come back!

The place was amazing. We stayed for a night, and I'm jealous we couldn't spend more time there. The surrounding is breathtaking: the idyllic pastoral with rolling hills and fields and beautiful villages here and there. I walked my dog before I went to bed, and there were so many fireflies in the field next to the hotel. I felt as if I was in a fairytale. The hotel building is marvellous. The restaurant, the rooms - everything was great. And the people - the family that runs the place are super nice and friendly. I'd want to return and spend more time at this magic place.

It was a lovely stay. The bedroom and bathroom were very pretty and spacious, and we were upgraded to a room with a private garden and sauna! We were also greeted with an aperitif. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety and high quality products - we specially enjoyed the cold cuts and cheese selection. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is very friendly, clean and organised. The receptionist and owner was very friendly and available, as was her husband. A lovely couple. The scenery was magnificent and the hotel is very well located. Dinner at the hotel was very good, the best homemade lasagne we've ever had.

Room was very big and with nice balcony. We got everything we needed in the room (even pool towels). Breakfast was amazing and we even borrowed the bikes for free. They let us stay by the swimming pool even after check out.

Superb! Everything was incredible. The dinner was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Rooms are so comfortable and the recently renovated building is really incredible. I loved the sauna and chill out area.

We just visited small central, old town part of Caldaro and...

We just visited small central, old town part of Caldaro and it was nice for one/two evenings. We mostly travelled outside the Caldaro just having hotel in that town. Surrounding vineyards are lovely to visit and enjoy vine tasting. Great roads for motorbike or bike trips.

Nice and friendly.

Nice and friendly. Much more German than Italian, which mainly is reflected on the selection of food available. Very nice area for starting walking and trekking in the mountains. Beautiful surroundings.
