Staying in this hotel was amazing. The owners Pablo and Marie were exceptionally friendly, we had great conversations and they went out of their way to make the stay as good as possible. The quality of the food! I will go back for the Argentiniën Steak alone! Rooms are very nice, interieur with great attention to detail and an amazing view!

I am in love with this place. Super friendly and professional staff, great food, clean and very comfortable room. Amazing location — the mountains around are breathtaking. Just in 900m walk — a beautiful lake. Many hiking roads around, many places to visit. I will suggest this place to my friends and will definitely come back :)

I have visited Kaltern for many years now and just recently found this gem - by far my favourite new hotel in the village. It has been completely renovated and just opened. It's beautifully located in the middle of vineyards - yet its in the city center, with an amazing view of the village (and even the lake). The rooms were great: sizeable and very very cozy, furnished with taste and a lot of attention to detail. The hotel has its own wine bar & bistro, with great food and wine (breakfast was AMAZING!). All of the staff was super nice and accommodating. Will definitely come back!

Highly recommended for all motorcyclist. The owner Mr. Lorenzo is an old motorcyclist himself with a very nice underground garage thay you can park your bikes safely and even do some maintenance if needed. The rooms were very clean and comfy, the breakfast was amazing. Mr. Lorenzo himself made us cappuccino. Everything was amazing. The town is very nice as well. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful location, we had an amazing view of mountains from our balcony. If you buy map 064 Val di Non-Le Maddalene Cles-Roen-Mendola (1:25 000) from the tourist information in Fondo there are local walks up into the hills, we walked to San Antonio a tiny chapel with a viewpoint. Through the woods with Alpine flowers and shade. The map shows the tracks as red lines. Just turn right up the hill from the hotel keep walking you will see the track into the hills right turn also visible on Google maps satellite view. You can also walk through the woods and over the hill to M Penegal about 1.5 to 2h. Good footwear needed. I would recommend getting the map to avoid getting lost although there are some signs. There is a tiny shop with groceries and local products 5 mins down the hill on the way to Malosco. The hotel itself is clean, it has blankets in the summer the extra duvet was in the cupboard. There is no tea and coffee in the rooms but we took a travel kettle. There is no mini fridge. The shower is good. We had half board the food was great and amazing value. Breakfast is delicious yoghurt 2 choices, fresh bread rolls, Alpine butter, variety of jams. Lots of cakes, a platter with salami, ham, cheese all very good. Not much choice but that's why the price is so good. And you can have too much choice. You are offered tea, coffee different varieties. I found the coffee quite strong so asked for aqua calda (hot water, caldo means hot and fredo means cold) and coffee with milk and got a jug of hot strong coffee, a jug of hot milk and a jug of hot water so could have lots of coffee exactly the strength I like. They also do a small cup of cappuccino or cafe latte or expresso. One day we had apples. You can buy fresh fruit in the little shop 5 mins away. For evening meal there was one choice but this can be modified. For example I don't eat veal so this was changed to pork. I also had vegetables instead of potatoes. It was delicious every night.

Room was very big and with nice balcony. We got everything we needed in the room (even pool towels). Breakfast was amazing and we even borrowed the bikes for free. They let us stay by the swimming pool even after check out.

We just visited small central, old town part of Caldaro and...

We just visited small central, old town part of Caldaro and it was nice for one/two evenings. We mostly travelled outside the Caldaro just having hotel in that town. Surrounding vineyards are lovely to visit and enjoy vine tasting. Great roads for motorbike or bike trips.

Nice and friendly.

Nice and friendly. Much more German than Italian, which mainly is reflected on the selection of food available. Very nice area for starting walking and trekking in the mountains. Beautiful surroundings.
