The hotel rooms and facilities are extremely clean. We enjoyed the whirlpool and saunas, especially in the outdoor area. Our food was very tasty and the staff at the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming. We recommend this hotel!

From the moment I checked in, I knew I was up for a great stay. The staff member (forgot her name) gave me a great tour of the place and amenities. The tour was very detailed, never had one like this in my whole life. The views were amazing. Also, breakfast restaurant was awesome.

The hotel is perfectly situated to explore South Tyrol, there is lots to see in all directions: lake Anthholzer to the north, lago di Braies and Tre Cime to the east, Puez Odle to the south, and Bolzano and Gilfenklamm to the west. We stayed for a week and still hadn't explored everything. The staff really make your stay feel special. The rooms themselves are great, very clean and comfortable, nice bathrooms with heated floors, fresh cookies every day, and cool mountain views. Breakfast is indeed exceptional, as well as dinner. You should try the tasting menu at least once, but perhaps it would be wise to skip lunch that day. Going to Atelier Moessmer was also spectacular, and the shuttle from and to the hotel were complimentary.

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and has a lovely view. The food was delicious, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a mountain, and while the drive up is a bit challenging, it adds to the adventure and is definitely not a problem. I’ll definitely come back again!

We truly loved everything about our stay at Nancy’s Holiday Homes. Nancy and her team are so friendly and helpful – you instantly feel like you’re in good hands. The vibe of the place is just perfect – beautifully decorated, warm, welcoming and full of charm. It really felt like a home away from home, but with the bonus of a postcard-worthy view from the balcony (mountain, forest, cabins & flowers). The room was huge, spotless and super comfortable. We loved waking up to the spectacular view of the mountains and forest every morning – a true breath of fresh air. The food was excellent, with fair prices and delicious daily specials. I especially enjoyed the latte macchiato and matcha latte. You can tell a lot of thought goes into everything here. The location is fantastic – tucked against the forest, so peaceful and romantic, but still super central. It’s a great base for exploring the area: close to Lago di Anterselva (stunning!), just the right distance from the Three Peaks (perfect for hikes with kids), and there’s even a forest playground in the next village. While it’s not a typical family hotel, there were so many great things to do with kids nearby, and we felt completely at ease. The best of both worlds, in my opinion. Nancy also gave us some spot-on food & sight recommendations in the area – every place we tried was a hit. We’ve stayed in lots of places, but this one really stands out for its relaxed atmosphere, thoughtful touches, and genuine hospitality. Honestly, we’d recommend it to anyone without hesitation. Can’t wait to come back!

Its location was excellent, both in the town not far from the train and also in the valley, next to the Dolomiti Superbike race venue and accessible by bike even to Lago di Braise/Pragser Wildsee. The food was also great. I love not having to search out a restaurant for dinner, knowing I’ll be getting superb food right at the hotel. It was also a nice surprise that there was a dedicated bike “box” for bike storage. One of the staff members literally went home and raided her sewing supplies after I realized the race organizers didn’t include safety pins for securing one of the two identification number plates they gave us. That was amazing!

The location is amazing - it has very good facilities, very clean, very comfortable, very big. Everything is on the spot and feels like a very nice experience. We came late and they still served us with dinner, Emi is a very professional manager and she managed to help us with everything. We had an accident on the way and once we arrived they provided a paramedic for us. Best hotel experience.

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination.

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Lifts are refreshed / replaced by newer at extreme rates. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.

We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other villages in the surrounding area. This is because it is a bit bigger than most and has more traditional town layout (instead of being village lined out next to the main street). Architecture is mostly traditional, which gives it the right alpine village vibe. There is a good choice for places to eat and a decent SPAR store. Ski lift is nearby. It seems that every other house is a hotel or a guest house, so finding the right accommodation should be fairly easy.

This was a great location with easy drives to Lago Braies (30 min) and Tre Cime (one hour). The town itself was small, but filled with restaurants and shops. The views were beautiful. And while we played golf at Alta Badia (one hour drive and best views), there is a golf course right around the corner from this hotel that looks pretty great as well. The area was a great home base to go to many different popular sites.

Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far. Large area, not too crowdy, slopes exactly to our taste (means blue and red :-) ). Well organised. Not sure where to park if you come late to the lift, but it was not our case.

A very neat, clean and perfectly organized city with Austrian organization and Italian flair. The feeling of security is very high, there are no beggars, no suspicious men. The stores sell excellent goods, there are no cheap stores like New Yorker, generally there are no international brands, but that's why you find very high quality goods at reasonable prices. The food is gastronomic, and the prices are acceptable. The architecture is first class.

On top of surroundings I really enjoyed local cuisine that is simple but based on natural local ingredients exceptionally good in every restaurant we had a chance to visit. My favorites were "Chi Cianeis" for lunch and "Plazores" for dinner.

There is a local supermarket which is well supplied.

There is a local supermarket which is well supplied. There are also clothes shops and even a shoe repair place. The museum at the Tourist Information is well worth a visit and you will learn about the Roman history of the town. You can also go on organised walks and tours which explores the local history. The roads are narrow and parking is limited but buses and trains are very good. The restaurant in the square is well worth a visit and is famous for its Pizzas.

Very small quiet village.

Very small quiet village. Picturesque and such friendly local people. Not many facilities in the village, one small supermarket, couple of hotels but only one with a restaurant for outside guests and they only served pizza. Cafe/Bar Val is a great place to sit and enjoy drinks at the end of the day or for coffee/breakfast. Super friendly staff who were lovely. Local language of ladin spoken or German. Don't go expecting people to speak English to you! We got by with German and a spattering of Italian but that is why we also loved it as prefer to be immersed in the culture. Piculin gondola just down the road which gave access to Kronplatz ski area. Takes about 45 mins to get over to main Platz . Badia Abtei lift about 15 mins further up which gave you access to La Villa via lifts and runs and La Villa and gondola about 25 mins further on. Ski bus seem to run frequently, although we drove so didn't use it. Parking in La Villa was 4 euros for the day. We also drove to Brunneck and picked up main gondola to Kronplatz from there. More direct to access slopes but a good 30 min drive. Lots of supermarkets in Brunneck but parking a nightmare. Use MPrice at the bottom of Piculin gondola, has everything you need.
