Monticchiello
Amazing agriturismo. Make sure you book the apartment with the private terrace, you’ll be admiring one of the best views over the Val D’Orcia. Pienza is perched on the hill in front of you, and you have amazing sunset views. Vilmo Barbi, the owner, is incredibly helpful in giving you suggestions for your stay. The room is fully equipped (the best part was discovering a stack of playing cards!) with all necessary amenities. Monticchiello is about 2km from the agriturismo, and is a jewel of a hamlet. Would definitely love to come back!
We stayed at Convento for a week and used it for driving around Val d’Orcia and Amiata. This was a perfect place to relax. Good breakfast and very nice room. The place itself calls for silence and relaxation. The monastery has been restored very beautifully and it is fun to live in buildings that have been here since the dark middleages. The owners and manager are very nice people. We have been several times to Val d'Orcia but Marianna gave us some very good tips for new things to see in the area.
Montalcino
Antonio and Rosanna have put their heart and soul into creating such a magnificent property for their guests. Panoramic Nest felt just like home, the apartment was incredibly clean and comfortable with breathtaking views of Val d’Orcia. What really exceeded our expectations was the hospitality provided by Antonio & Rosanna. They were amazing throughout our entire stay and took excellent care of our family. Thank you so much for everything!
Monticchiello
Wonderful apartment, cosy and perfectly equipped, with unbelievably helpful and nice owners. Beautifully situated in Monticchiello village which I believe is a hidden jewel in Val d’Orcia, small and quiet, with a stunning old town, only few but great restaurants, amazing views and vicinity to Montepulciano, Pienza and other must see places. I am more than happy to have found Villa PoliFlora and recommend this place to everyone.
Monticchiello
The owners are great, very helpful, nice and not intrusive at the same time. The location is perfect for visiting all the sights (Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, Montepulcino, Val D’Orcia…), although it is not on top of the hill. It is really helpful that they have a list of suggested restaurants - which are are really great. I suggest taking the breakfast since it is really good - no one should miss their home made yoghurt.
Montepulciano
Part of the house with private courtyard is in the heart of Montepulciano. The apartment is heated. Close to the main square, nearby restaurants, bars, cafes. Amazing views of the Tuscan valleys. It is easy to reach the small Tuscan towns and the val d’Orcia by car. The beds are very comfortable, we slept better than at home :) Clean, tidy, cozy. Our dog really enjoyed the enclosed yard.
Pienza
It was really an exceptional stay, in the middle of nature. You look around, and from one side you see the stunning hills of the Val d’Orcia, and from the other there is Pienza. Our apartment was perfectly furnished. I was positively surprised that there were even two bathrooms! Outside as well it was furnished and decorated nicely, so it was the perfect setup for a romantic evening.
Castiglione dʼOrcia
Very clean apartment with great facilities, pool was lovely with amazing views and very nice garden.. the place is very remote but we liked this as it was so peaceful and you can drive to all the main sights in Val D’orcia within 30 mins. Would definitely recommend
Pienza
everything! staying there was the best part of our trip in Italy. the views are incredible, the attention from Marco was great , the rooms are awesome . it is very well located so you can go to the different parts from Val d’Orcia in no more than 20 minutes .
Montepulciano
The property is located in a very strategic spot to visit Val D’Orcia. It is immersed in nature, it is very silent and peaceful. We loved our staying there. We highly appreciated the fact that the apartment had everything we needed and it was spotless!!
We loved this little hotel. Great location just between Pienza walls and Val d’Orcia Valley. Great place for long walking or cycling trips as well as for exploring Pienza as itself. Parking spot is also a huge advantage in this area.
Montepulciano
Located directly in front of Montepulciano, highlight of the Val d‘orcia are easily reachable, the host was very welcoming and helpful, the apartment has everything you need, is comfy and cozy. Highly recommended
500 years old convent full of history, amazing view of the Val D’Orcia from the terrace of the hotel. Breakfast on the terrace was the best we had in Tuscany.
a friendly small hotel in the most idyllic location with exceptional views and great access to explore all the lovely villages along Val D’Orcia.
Fantastic in every way. We will be back. The place is beautiful, the service is amazing and the food is wonderful. You can’t go wrong staying here. One of the best places we stayed in Italy.
Such a relaxing, elegant way to finish our holiday. Lucia's massage was amazing.
When we pulled up, we were in absolute awe of this location. Very majestic on a hill top over looking the endless fields for miles and miles. Out of all the hotels we stayed at in Italy, this is one we treasured the most. The ancient walls with a modern convenience were more than we expected. Some reviewers mentioned the dinning being pricy but you truly get what you pay for. Dinner was impeccable with an amazing view so it was very much with it. Book this place, you won’t regret it.
Everything .. SPA, staff especially, beds, view, rooms...
Great location! The villa is so nice, breakfast was great. Very clean.
the staff are fantastic everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. there is a small spa available for private use which was a nice addition to the stay and need to pay extra for. the breakfast was great and beds comfy and would recommend to use as a base to explore closer towns.
