I found this Hotel nice and comfortable. It's modern and smart looking and adjoins a (quiet) square, where I could overlook people meeting and chatting. the room was a decent size with a long wide shelf along the window to lay stuff out and use as a writing table. The bathroom was big and, part of the tower, interestingly curved. Everywhere was spotless. The staff were nice and friendly and kind to my Italian, though they spoke English. I'd happily recommend it as a treat for anyone on the Via Francigena and stay there again.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms were well thought out, the bed super comfortable, not noisy, and generally a pleasure to be in. I started in this hotel when I biked the Via Francigena and spent a few nights at the end when I got back. Both times were fantastic. The staff are super helpful and the breakfast had eggs, pancakes, bacon, cheese, fruit, dulce, and more.

What I enjoyed the most of the hotel was the location. I had a nice view and the city centre was just around the corner. Breakfast was fine. A bit high end for pilgrims along the via Francigena but sometimes a treat is needed. Shame the spa wasn't open, the hotel told me in advance so I was aware of it.

The property itself is beautiful, traditional Tuscan farm buildings converted to a lovely hotel. The staff were excellent, the food delicious, the hotel grounds large and like being on a country estate. And it was right on the via Francigena which we were walking.
