We loved staying here, the hotel has the most amazing onsen on the rooftop with a sauna and cold plunge. The staff are lovely, and the breakfast buffet was very good.

Very nice and clean rooms, great massages and Onsen, very helpful staff, finally the breakfast was what we needed after 10 days of eating Japanese breakfast. I don’t know why this hotel only has 3 stars on booking.com?? We decided to stay for an additional night.

We paid for breakfast for the first day and it was very tasty! Had all japan and aomori specialties and felt very homey. Huge variety of food and drinks.

nice ,helpful and polite staff. Reception can speak english. there are many restaurant near hotel and the ASPAM is very close to the hotel. Highly recommend for visiting Aomori.

Quiet location on main bus line

Dormy inn is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in Japan regarding value for money. Room was spacious (in comparison to other standards rooms in japan). Very clean and staff is super helpful and nice

Overall we liked the hotel, breakfast and room but did have a weird experience with a homeless man wandering in the loungearea

Needed somewhere to skip the night after the Towada Hanabi - wished I'd've stayed for longer. Bed was exceptionally comfortable - as if Hypnos himself had come down to lull me to sleep. AC could be controlled via buttons next to the bed. Private bathroom, albeit somewhat cramped. Close to the central bus stop. Free toiletries at the reception. Breakfast was different from what I knew, but it was lovely nonetheless.

The hotel met our expectations, whilst rustic around the edges, the room had all the facilities we required. The beds were comfortable and the buffet offered great options that met my dietaries requirements (gluten free.) The onsite onsen was a great respite at the end of the day and it was also fun to have the karaoke bar for a bit of entertainment. The ski lockers were also a great

Considering the price, this hotel blew me away. Clean, quiet, comfortable and the included breakfast was superb. The shower had nice hot water and strong water pressure. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

I was really positively suprised by this hotel as it had so many bad reviews at the time of booking. To be fair, we only tried our luck as it was the last one in the vicinity of the Nebuta festival in Aomori, so did not have any real expectations and just wanted a bed. However, the staff already greeted us really warmly and the room was a typical standard hotel room for business purposes. I am very sensitive towards smoke and the smell of it in rooms that have been converted to non-smoking rooms but I really could not smell a thing in our room. I usually get a bad headache if there is even a trace, so I was really pleasantly suprise as some reviews stated otherwise. The non-smoking and smoking rooms are separated by levels in the hotel, so there was no smell in the halls either. The room had all the normal necessities like soap, fridge, razor, tea, and what have you. We did not go snooping into every corner of the room, but felt that all was nice and clean. There are some convenience stores and many restaurants and izakayas around. Getting to the train station was rather easy with either bus or train, you only had to watch out for the last one around 10pm, otherwise taxis where the only option (around 3000 yen in 2023). There is also a parking space on the hotel property for guests. In total, we had a really lovely time here and would recommend it for everyone travelling on a budget!
