The breakfast was AMAZING and so very worth the extra as there’s so much variety to sample traditional Japanese breakfast. And the free late night ramen is so yummy too.

Located in Goshogawara, 17 miles from Sannai-Maruyama Site, こもる五所川原 provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. + the rice served at dinner time was super yummy and u can ask for refills! + loved the offering of different types of apple juice at check-in and during meals + stayed in room 101 and enjoyed sitting by my own private zen garden (although u look up to a view of the neighbouring house but fortunately didn’t see anyone looking down at me) + very comfortable bed set up by staff after dinner + the bathroom is shared but really big and it was nice soaking in the tub + wifi worked well + staff were friendly + easy drive to Iwakiyama Shrine and Iwaki Skyline (but otherwise there’s nothing much to see/do in the vicinity)

It's not luxurious but they just get a lot of things right. The baths are spacious and comfortable with free frozen treats to relax with afterwards. There are complimentary washing machines, which are really appreciated by travellers with many days on the road. There's late night ramen. Our corner room wasn’t big but it was well arranged. The windows open to let in a little fresh air. The location is in the heart of town right near bus routes. Some of the staff speak English and offered a lot of help.

The place is about a 25 minute walk to Aomori Station and about a 15 minute walk to most of the relevant spots in Aomori, but everything else was perfect about it. Check-in was easy, the rooms were small, but comfortable. The included breakfast was an incredible buffet that was amongst the best I've had in all of Asia for something that's free and included in the stay. There's a whole cabinet of free amenities including laundry detergent if you needed something for your stay

Great Location, minutes away from Aomori Station, A-factory and Nebuta Wa-rasse Museum, opposite the tourist information centre (with English speaking staff, and super helpful), and bus stops to get around to other sites seeing locations. The bed was comfy and all amenities provided for. Breakfast included was great, did not run out of food despite it being busy (and I think fully booked). Hotel staff were excellent and very friendly. Room suitable for solo traveller but will be too tight with luggage etc. with two people

The hotel chain, Super Hotels, has a great breakfast selection, focused on natural ingredients and local delicacies. Also, when you arrive at this particular chain, they give you a welcome drink at the bar, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. When I was there, they had several different types of local apple juices, a speciality of Aomori prefecture - a bit like wine-tasting but with apple juices! I also liked the fact that there was an onsen bath, although it's a public bath it's well worth it.

The staff were amazing, and the driver took us to the aquarium and back on our last morning before we took the train back to Aomori. Firstly I should say the staff were all very kind. The ladies in the dining room were especially so and created a very happy atmosphere. The hot spring baths were very warming on a snowy day, as were the evening ramen bowls. Great breakfast too, with delicious Aomori apple. Very clean and modern hotel.

There was an onsen right next to the hotel, which was amazing to come in and relax after a long day of travelling. We had breakfast at the hotel too and it was also very good. There was a large selection of local food, which means that we got to sample all of Aomori's cuisine too.
