Really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, well appointed room with a great shower. Delightful hosts who spoke good English and were helpful in every well. They made restaurant reservations for us, accommodated our early start and generally made for a very relaxing stay. Location is right on the seafront. It's a 5 minute walk to the bus stop which gets you into the main town or airport very easily. There are also local places to eat if you don't want to go any further.

We had an incredible stay and can’t recommend it enough. Exceptional Hospitality 🤝 What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding and helpful staff. They are incredibly responsive and ready to assist with any question or request you might have. Whether it's organizing an airport transfer (just make sure to arrange it in advance) or giving local tips, their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The Location & Beach Vibes 🏖️ The location is unbeatable if you love nature. A breathtakingly beautiful beach is just a 7-minute walk away (or a super quick 2-minute drive). The water there is crystal clear and perfect for a relaxing day. One of our favorite things to do was driving to a large supermarket just 10 minutes away to stock up on fresh local snacks and drinks, and then having a sunset picnic right on the beach. It was the highlight of our trip! The Rooms & Vibe ☁️ The hotel feels very fresh and stylish. Our rooms were beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and felt like a cozy sanctuary after a long day in the sun. Because it’s away from the busy city center, the nights are incredibly quiet, and the starry sky above the hotel is simply breathtaking! Top-Tier Service 🚗 Traveling was so easy because we could rent a car directly at the hotel. This is a must for exploring the island and getting to the shops and viewpoints quickly. The Stars of the Show: Hotel Pets! 🦜 What makes this place truly special is its unique charm and the adorable residents. Returning to the hotel after a beach day became a whole program of its own thanks to the pets! Paina (the parrot) was absolutely the most talented representative of the hotel—seeing her was such a delight and always put a smile on our faces. We had absolutely nicest time at Seven Colours. The place is so beautiful and in a fantastic location (we wanted something nice and quiet directly by the beach). there are 3 stunning hidden beaches within a few minutes walk and we were usually the only ones there. The food was also absolutely delicious and we loved our dinners there with beautiful traditional okinawan dishes every night. It was all was rounded off with the amazing service and the great staff like Nonaka-San who made our stay even more enjoyable.

This hotel is located in a rather advantageous location, not far from the main town of the island. Besides the rare city buses, you can take a taxi to the ferry terminal for as little as 1,000 yen or even walk there in 30 min. In fact, we were given not a classic hotel room, but a huge apartment of three rooms that could accommodate about 6-8 people. In addition, the hotel has helpful staff. One of them (unfortunately, I don’t know his name) spoke good English, which is very rare for Japanese hotels. Finally, the hotel offers a rather modest but acceptable breakfast. Apart from this, I can’t say anything good about this strange place.

Jusandi is very well located in the north of Ishigaki island, which is very close to all natural hotspots (e.g. scuba diving, snorkelling, hiking, etc.). The villas are very secluded so guests can enjoy real privacy in an idyllic decor. The staff is extremely attentive and will happily help you find a place to go eat/drink outside the hotel if you desire or even give you local spots to visit. We loved our time at Jusandi on our honeymoon and were sad to leave.

Strong recommended for people who love the sea and nature. We went to Iriomote for snorkeling and it’s currently the best spot to snorkel among all the past experience we had. Family had a great time together Jusr enjoying the nature, detox from social media and electronics. Experience the local nature and beauty.

Great place for people liking dark skies, quiet, and not many people. Do your research on the Island and find the beautiful places to visit. Beaches, Caves, Dark Skies, very nice locals. How can you go wrong? Be sure to rent (in advance) a car at the airport so you can travel around this farming and beautiful island.

It’s a perfect hotel to be just one day in the Ishigaki city. It’s big, clean and all the services that you can need for a night. You can Ho walking to the center of the city where you will find a lot of restaurants and shops.

I would recommend getting a car.

I would recommend getting a car. We did not have a car and we were out in Kabira. I wished that we could have seen Yonehara Beach, but getting there was difficult from Kabira as there were no buses running at the time I wanted to go. We were there primarily to scuba dive and we went with the excellent dive outfit, Euro Divers, located at the Club Med resort. You do not have to stay at Club Med to dive with Euro Divers. They will come and pick you up from where you are staying. They are a full service dive company and have very good instructors who speak many languages fluently. We wanted to see mantas, but it was late in the manta season, and I didn't get to see them (my friends saw them on a different day). Go in the month of May. June is already at the end of the season. The corals were incredible and so alive with tons of fish. There is still plenty to see. Ishigaki is not like the rest of Japan in its efficiency. It is a sleepy island and shops and restaurants open and close whenever they feel like. That is the case in Kabira. We had trouble finding a restaurant open on Sunday that would take us. I think it would help if you could speak a little Japanese and are able to make reservations. We had trouble making reservations. Some of the restaurants won't open if you didn't make a reservation ahead of time.

world class beaches and access to snorkeling expeditions. loved the light traffic (limited tourists) outside of Ishigaki city - there were times you could feel you were alone on the island. day trip to Iriomote - waterfall hike/kayaking in the mangroves (you could hear a pin drop) - unbelievable, unforgettable. best memory from trip. if you like fancy be outdoors or in the water, Ishigaki is a must for your bucket list - especially for those who have time to tag onto time in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto...etc. have a good trip!
