- From $134.85 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 3,193 reviewsOur family stayed here for 3 nights and found it to be in a great location, about an hour from Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium to the north, 15 minutes from Cape Manzamo and Elephant Rock, and an hour from Naha City to the south. It’s an ideal base for exploring both northern and southern Okinawa. Waking up to breakfast with a view of the water was a highlight. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, including Japanese, Chinese, and Western dishes. The hotel has an old-school charm, reminding me of vacations I had as a kid in the 80's (i.e., rooms still using actual keys). We also appreciated the bouncy house outside for our son to play at, and the souvenir shop downstairs, making last-minute shopping easy before our departure.Guest review bySuTaiwan
- From $204.32 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 330 reviewsA really great small hotel hidden in the countryside near Churaumi aquarium, with very friendly staff, in-room Jacuzzi and free drinks, for a reasonable price. There’s a barbecue outside to grill some skewers or marshmallows, a rooftop to enjoy a glass of wine or watch the stars.Guest review byBenoitTaiwan

A gorgeous spot with plenty of local restaurants to enjoy.
A gorgeous spot with plenty of local restaurants to enjoy. Beaches on your doorstop and other attractions such as pottery village only a short drive away. I really made use of the hire car for trips out of Onna, but a few days could be enjoyed in the town by walking.Guest review byElizabethAustralia - 10.0

I only stayed in my hotel because it was raining but i definitely wish I stayed longer (I was only there for one full day— the other two I travelled to and from my hotel) but I really wish I booked a longer stay. It’s not as busy as Naha or other popular areas so for me it was quiet and peaceful. I wish I could have visited some local attractions such as the pineapple park but unfortunately it rained on the day I wanted to go and I didn’t really feel like doing that in the rain. But I’d recommend 2-3 full days here!Guest review byHoltonJapan - 10.0

We visited quite a few places in the area including Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium which was really interesting and well worth the money. We spent time at Motobu Genki Village and Bise with the tropical dream center all located within Ocean Expo Park. Due to a lack of time after seeing lots of other attractions in the area we were unable to visit the northernmost beaches and forest walks that we had planned.Guest review byBrianNew Zealand - 10.0
There was a lot to do and see in Kin.
There was a lot to do and see in Kin. The variety of restaurants was impressive and we wished we could stay longer just to check them out. There was a good mix of Western and Japanese restaurants, so plenty of food options for everyone. It was also really interesting to find a Buddhist temple that had a cave on the grounds! The beaches were also really nice. We loved Kin Sunrise Beach Seaside Park and everything it had to offer. We didn't have a lot of time to spend there, but we probably could have stayed there all day.Guest review byCarleyJapan - 10.0

The location we stayed was very close to the expressway and it was easy to get into and out of the Ginoza area. Our lodging was convenient and close to the venue that attracted us to Ginoza. There are several convenient stores and a market close by. There are a few restaurant choices, and we found a couple that we really enjoyed. Overall, we enjoyed the area.Guest review bydsp24720United States - 4.0
Onna was disappointing.
Onna was disappointing. A long way from Naha airport although well serviced by airport limousine bus on our way in. There were no busses on the return to Naha from the resort for an early flight out, so needed to pay taxi which was expensive. Weather was a bit indifferent - had expected something more of a pacific island climate. Other than resort (Sheraton which was very limited in choice for meals), there were limited evening eating places. Those that were available were 30minute walk away from the resort, some reasonably ok, others not so. Would recommend Jam for dinner - booking essential - worth the moneyGuest review byMichaelAustralia - 6.0
Nago has fantastic beaches.
Nago has fantastic beaches. Most of them not advertised enough. However the restaurants are small (at least where we were...at Yugaf Inn) and they dont seem to bother serving forighners. Some even have notes out on the door. Shocking And that is a big one. Plus nobody speaks english so that makes things hard.Guest review bySorina - 10.0

Took in the aquarium and the zoo. (btw: satnav has it as a zoo not tourist attraction) Went to a traditional restaurant for Sabu-Sabu. Not on car sat nav, but google got me close. No sign, just in right spot, and matching picture.Guest review byRandyCanada - 8.0

Kin is quiet and mostly residential, away from the tourism of Okinawa. The main business is Cam Hansen, Marine Corps Base. Range operations can be heard from the southern part of Kin almost every day.Guest review byRobertJapan - 6.0
The beach and area were good.
The beach and area were good. It was disappointing that we had to pay extra for beach chairs and umbrella, and there were also fees to use their facilities, such as: gym, tennis court, public bath, etc. the buffet was okay, we only had an option for one restaurant, the other was closed, so we were limited on where we could eat at the resort. Also, if u want to watch the sunset by the bar, u had to pay for a drink. The resort was old, and some areas were much needed of a renovationGuest review byFujiwara
