MASCOS Hotel Masuda Onsen is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are lovely and welcoming, and the whole hotel feels clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The onsen is fantastic, relaxing, well-maintained, and especially impressive because they allow tattoos, which is rare and very forward-thinking in Japan. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, with great amenities and everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is convenient and makes it easy to explore Masuda. Overall, a perfect mix of style, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended.

During our trip, we booked a room last minute at Wakatsuki in Tsuwano, and what a wonderful surprise it turned out to be. This beautifully restored former sake brewery has been transformed into a charming hotel and restaurant, and that care is visible in every detail. Our room was stunning and perfectly maintained. The food was equally impressive. Both dinner and breakfast were of excellent quality and prepared with great attention. We truly enjoyed every meal. What made our stay even more special were the people. The manager was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. When we left, we were even given homemade cake and a personal gift, which was a very thoughtful touch. We have been traveling through Japan for a month, and this stay is definitely one of the highlights.
