I love the garden and present of animals. They have two little puppies, cats and chickens. It felt like being in heaven. The owners are super attentive and hospitable :) It’s possible to rent a motorbike and eat an amazing food in the restaurant. Bicycles are for free! Room was super clean, with amazing wooden furniture made by the owner. I wish I could stay longer 😊

Quiet area. Filtered water available so I didn't have to purchase bottled water. Room was cleaned when requested as I informed host I did not need my room cleaned daily. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Host arranged transport to Kep for me. He also booked an appointment with his dentist and helped with finding a pharmacy so I could purchase medication. He arranged several tuk tuk rides for me. It was only approx $3 RT for short rides to go into town for the night market and meals - it was too hot for me to walk that far. Gin & Tonics there were only $2!

We are so happy we picked this place! Only good things to report :) Very comfortable, with lovely (& large) rooms located on 2 floors around a nice swimming pool. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the centre/river (by scooter or tuktuk). But as it is out of the hustle of the town, you can hear birds and the wind in the palm trees from your window. A great place to settle and relax. We stayed 2 weeks altogether across various reservations and I do recommend spending more than a couple of nights, as there is plenty to do around (mountain, sea, river, sports, dining, pepper plantation, lake, markets, etc) and still have time to relax by the pool. We did not have time to get bored. The bed is good (neither too hard nor to soft), as are pillows. Room service is very thorough. Breakfast is good, with a variation between a-la-carte and buffet days. It can get a bit repetitive over a long stay like ours and is not especially vegetarian or vegan friendly if you don’t ask for it. But they will cater for you upon request and are looking into improving their vegetarian offer. The swimming pool is large and very clean, and long enough for laps. Best of all is the staff, including receptionist Som Moniroth, who are always doing their best to help with any situation and resolve everyday issues promptly. Overall, Hillocks is great value for money and we will definitely come back if in Kampot again.

Gorgeous renovation, lovely well thought out art deco theme. Lovely rooms, we had 108. Great food and bar. Really hospitable and friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Great location only a 5 minute walk from the main restaurant and bar area. Lots of Tuk tuks available. A really nice courtyard garden area and mini pool. Loved it!

Danke für Alles! We loved Ganesha. My husband had a long travel from Germany and we really had time to relax here. Mr Poth was outstanding and arranged everything for us. The resort is beautiful and our room was clean and we had a comfortable sleep. For us it was perfect to be a bit from the hussle of the City center. We could get around easily by tuktuk for 2$. The cocktails and food at the restaurant was good and the kayak Tour around the area is beautiful. Definitely can recommend!

Outstanding location, quiet yet a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to kampot centre. The owners are attentive yet not intrusive. The current owners had only been there since October but have nailed the hospitality aspect to perfection. Light snacks are available along with coffee and drinks and you can book breakfast. The owners have a clear awareness of how to move the business forward and in my opinion there's current hotel rates are too low. Grab this absolute gem while you can!
