i’ve never stayed in a nicer boutique hotel in cambodia. it’s honestly on the same level as some of the big 5* names in phnom penh, only without all the bullshit. main plus is that it’s completely new / newly renovated. no one wants anything from you. it’s spacious but only a few rooms, so no one bothers you.

It is a beautiful house surrounded by a beautiful garden on the outskirts of the city but in 5 minutes by tuktuk you are in the center. The rooms are incredible, super large and with a perfect bathroom. All the furniture has been designed and built by the owner with great taste. In addition, the food is very good! And the owners are charming people. In short, a perfect place to disconnect.

Ben (the owner) and his staff were extremely hospitable. It felt like another family away from home! The location was quiet, perfect for catching the sun rise and chilling by the river! They also gave recommendations on where to eat and assisted in securing transport for good prices to our trip to Sihanoukville port. Ferry tickets and certain tours can also be arranged through them for similar price on other platforms!

We are so happy we picked this place! Only good things to report :) Very comfortable, with lovely (& large) rooms located on 2 floors around a nice swimming pool. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the centre/river (by scooter or tuktuk). But as it is out of the hustle of the town, you can hear birds and the wind in the palm trees from your window. A great place to settle and relax. We stayed 2 weeks altogether across various reservations and I do recommend spending more than a couple of nights, as there is plenty to do around (mountain, sea, river, sports, dining, pepper plantation, lake, markets, etc) and still have time to relax by the pool. We did not have time to get bored. The bed is good (neither too hard nor to soft), as are pillows. Room service is very thorough. Breakfast is good, with a variation between a-la-carte and buffet days. It can get a bit repetitive over a long stay like ours and is not especially vegetarian or vegan friendly if you don’t ask for it. But they will cater for you upon request and are looking into improving their vegetarian offer. The swimming pool is large and very clean, and long enough for laps. Best of all is the staff, including receptionist Som Moniroth, who are always doing their best to help with any situation and resolve everyday issues promptly. Overall, Hillocks is great value for money and we will definitely come back if in Kampot again.

Amazing stay!! Large room with A/C, fridge, chairs and tables. Large bathroom too so toilet doesn't get wet when you shower. Huge outside landing with comfy chairs and tables. Soriya, the owner, takes amazing care of her guests, cooks great meals and delicious pancakes. Her kids are also very welcoming and helpful around the house. You can even rent a motorbike on-site. So much comfort for such a small price.. This place is a gem!

The staff is friendly. Any request was fulfilled within minutes. Breakfast was something to choose from, not buffet but tasty. I highly recommend getting fresh juice for breakfast. It's great. The territory is large and very clean. Completely in silence and all in greenery. Very beautiful. The pool is clean and not deep. There are 2 ponds. The hotel has access to the river and kayaks that can be rented and paddled. The shared bathroom is large, with 1 shower and toilet, but there is also a separate bathroom for men on the floor. Everything is very clean.

The lovely couple Stepan and Juli, who runs this place is great, they helped us with everything we needed, even prepared for us breakfest to go since we had to leave early for a tour. I also had some food poisoning from other place and they helped me with pills so i could go on a tour. Very lovely stay here.

I stayed at Villa vedici with my husband and two kids 5 and 3 years old. We started with a booking with 5 nights but extended with 3 more nights because we liked it so much. The staff is so friendly and the owners do so much to feel you welcome. With kids its an amazing place to stay because they have so many activities - they can bike on small bikes, play airhockey, jump on trampolins and enjoy the swimmingpools. Even when it's raining theres a lot for the kids to do. And the food is so good in the restaurant as well. We rented some scooters and drove up to Bokor park which was amazing. The hotel is far away from noise but still so close to the city - it takes around 5 min and then you are in Kampot city. In the evening you can hear all the "noise" from the animals it almost feels like you are in the jungle. So amazing. Will recommend this hotel to everyone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nataya Resort is a wonderful place to stay near the beach. The location is perfect, with easy access to the seaside and a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. There were plenty of activities to enjoy without leaving the resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the owner was very kind and welcoming, which made the stay feel special. Overall, it was a great experience for my whole family, and I would highly recommend Nataya Resort to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing beachside stay.

It’s a cozy small boutique hotel. Not far from the town center. A nice walk along the river is all it takes to arrive. The breakfast was great. The pool is a nice place to relax. Rooms are comfortable, restaurant very inviting as well. The best of the stay is the staff! Kind, professional justa amazing team!

If going to Cambodia try and get to Kampot. This place is lovely - a real relaxed atmosphere and lots of things to see and do around the area. It lights up like a Christmas tree at night - there are pop up restaurants on the beach, lights everywhere and a water show. Lots of places to eat. Lovely river and walkway. Highly recommend this place.

We adore Kampot!

We adore Kampot! Small city that is family friendly and full of hidden gems. The riverside beach is fantastic in the evening and the water/light show was impressive. There are good and inexpensive restaurants, spas and river cruises. Many options for day trips around like pepper farms, wellness retreats, and the mangrove restoration village.

Lovely, lively and authentic.

Lovely, lively and authentic. Reminds me of Chaing Mai in Thailand. Some great restaurants and coffee shops. The market is great and no one is pushy and up for a haggle. I really enjoyed my time and look forward to returning.
