If 6 stars were available this logement would 100% merit. We stayed for two nights and now we have booked for a further two nights. The owners are incredible. So attentive and friendly. We did the sunset cycle tour and were introduced to family members in the neighbouring area. 10/10. It is about 2km from the town centre but this location is stunning in nature with beautiful Mountain View’s. Easy accessibility with tuk tuk or scooter. Free tuk tuk transfer arranged upon arrival. Thank you 🙏 The accommodation is the best we have stayed in from a global point of view not just Asia. The quality of craftsmanship from the owner is world class with regards to the carpenter skills. Spotless cleanliness, perfect AC, huge comfortable beds and rooms. You feel like royalty upon arrival! Thank you Villa Romoduol and the amazing team for life long memory and experience.

Very clean and nice guesthouse in Kampot. The rooms are big, super clean and comfortable. You can have breakfast there as well as rent motorbikes at good price The owner and staff are very nice and helpful! Highly recommend it!!!

Gilly, Simone and the rest of the team at the Old Cinema hotel went out of their way to give us a great stay. The atmosphere at the hotel is really good, the food is amazing and the people are just so nice. The rooms themselves were good and very clean. We celebrated my moms birthday there and I could order a cake that was prepared by the chef and they even helped us decorate with banners/balloons. The location is also great, we usually stay around the river when in Kampot but loved being more close and at walking distance from everything in town this time around. You can also ask the hotel to help you organize trips around the area. All in all, we will come back for sure and can recommend going here to everyone!

From the moment you arrive here one just feels like new, all your stress just disappears, it's so unique and close to nature, the restaurant food is out of this world and at night all you will hear are amazing bird sounds, the staff go out of their way to make you feel OK, especially pheakdey, mai, Lee and they have great day trips to bokor and kep, rooms are varied in type here, we took the riverfront, amazing tree house style, fan cooled, with bathroom downstairs really nice! The staff is friendly. Any request was fulfilled within minutes. Breakfast was something to choose from, not buffet but tasty. I highly recommend getting fresh juice for breakfast. It's great. The territory is large and very clean. Completely in silence and all in greenery. Very beautiful. The pool is clean and not deep. There are 2 ponds. The hotel has access to the river and kayaks that can be rented and paddled. The shared bathroom is large, with 1 shower and toilet, but there is also a separate bathroom for men on the floor. Everything is very clean.

Loved everything about our stay, such friendly staff, great pool and brilliant accommodation. The owner even gave us face masks when he heard we were driving to Sihanoukville by scooters that day as the roads were bad and dusty. Highly recommend!

Nice town. Not too much traffic trying to run you down.

Nice town. Not too much traffic trying to run you down. Some great vegan/veggie restaurants. Lots of places to eat. Riverside walk really nice, peaceful. Beach ok, but need to watch the roaming dogs as they use it as a toilet!! Nice town and shop areas. Visit the pepper plantation, awesome products.

Great location and people . restaurants were plentiful. If you don't like too much sun and heat, Make sure to go during winter season because even in December walking along the river walkway was very sunny and very hot even in the early mornings. Had to safe strolling in the evenings.

Kampot city is great but there is a large amount of (mostly...

Kampot city is great but there is a large amount of (mostly retired) foreigners there so sometimes the Khmer culture can be lost in the crowd. I noticed a lot of foreigners now have pet dogs. (We saw a spontaneous dogfight between the local street dogs competing for territory that involved five animals - it was a little distressing). The French Colonial architecture is beautiful if you look up. When the Cambodians paint them and keep them in good condition, they really add value to the neighbourhood. The Kampot area has plenty to do with local agriculture (fruit and the famous Kampot pepper), kayaking on the river, small beaches, and sight-seeing. You can spend a few days exploring the surrounding area including a day trip to Kep to eat the famous pepper crabs.
