New hotel with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms. The young man, Lai, at the reception is very friendly, speaks English and eager to answer all your questions. When we had an issue with our room (construction noise nearby) he was quick to move us to a quiet room. Thank you Lai!

My family and I loved our accommodations at Pha Nya Residence. This place is gorgeous, very unique! The owners did a wonderful job and are very hands-on. The rooms were spacious. And the staff, just amazing and very welcoming. They are knowledgeable about the area and all that it has to offer. We had last minute guest join, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you're in doubt, don't be. Book asap! Hopefully, we'll be back again to visit.

Located one block away from the main street in the tourist area of Luang Prabang and one block the other direction from the river, this hotel was quiet, clean and felt luxurious. The beautiful garden / courtyard outside our window made waking up every morning feel like a dream. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, the breakfast buffet was a highlight, and the rooms felt both classic and updated to suit our needs. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

What a hotel. Rosewood lives up to expectations. The interiors are stunning. The whole property is beautifully laid out with the old house looking immaculate. I would have loved to stay longer. The staff were such a pleasure. The level of service is superb. We had a pick up from a restaurant where the driver waited for us for over half an hour even though his shift had ended.

Really friendly and helpful staff, the location of hotel absolutely beautiful. We adored being there sitting in the beautiful garden for breakfast and dinner. Location near town also perferct, easy to walk and being in the hub, yet very quiet.

Its a laid back city, to relax and enjoy peaceful time. Have most of things fitting to everyone's pocket - From river cruise to sunset points, from temples to Waterfalls. I mean 2-3 days is must come and relax feel the vibe of laos. Not a party place at all, not recommended for shopping if going to Vientiane after it. I recommend have a flight to Luang prabang and the take journey to south.

Luang Prabang is an amazing city that is not too big and very easy to get around either on foot or in a tuk-tuk. We stayed a total of 6 nights but we could easily stayed for longer as there's so much to see and do. We particularly liked the old buildings, markets, etc. It's also a great base to go off on day trips to visit waterfalls, see beautiful scenery and visit hill tribe villages. We were a group of 6 adults and we particularly liked our half day trip to the Living Land Rice Farm where you can be a traditional rice farmer for a bit. It was very informative. Also we loved doing a cookery class through the Tamarind Restaurant. It was very hands-on and everyone in the group loved eating what we had prepared.

Beautiful temples and some streets with authentic (renovated) houses now almost entirely converted into guest houses. The situation of Luang Prabang on the shore of the Mekong is superb. Unfortunately the place is totally overrun by mass tourism. The overwhelming majority are groups from China.
