On the Mekong Resort was better than you could imagine. Beautiful grounds, comfortable and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast and incredible staff. Everyone is extremely helpful and they seem to attract great guests as well. They offer rides into town and you can take a cheap TukTuk ride back very easily. The view and sunsets make you never want to leave. If we make it back to Laos, we will definitely stay here again.

New hotel with spacious and beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms. The young man, Lai, at the reception is very friendly, speaks English and eager to answer all your questions. When we had an issue with our room (construction noise nearby) he was quick to move us to a quiet room. Thank you Lai!

The staff and the owner are very accomodating and have a warm hospitality! The room is so clean and so comfortable. Breakfast was so extra and so delicious!!!! We had a fantastic stay at Madilao! The hotel is fairly new, with spacious rooms, large and incredibly comfortable beds, and an excellent shower. The pool is amazing, and the gym and breakfast were both great as well. We initially stayed for a week and enjoyed it so much that we returned for another two nights. Although it’s about a 10/15 minute drive to the city center, getting there is super easy thanks to the free shuttle service offered several times a day, or you can book a private transfer without any hassle. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Madilao, especially if you’re traveling with kids. Everything was just spot-on.
