Owner and staff is super friendly and helpful. I felt like home and did not wanna leave there. Breakfasts was really good. You have shuttle service to down town, so no need to worry about the location. I can tell this place has best viewpoint of the Mekong river. If you catch the nice sunset, you will enjoy it a lot.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! Many varieties from fresh fruits, sandwiches, fried rice, stir fry, pancakes etc. Location was great, about 15 min walk from market and Phousi Temple. Away from the road so there’s no traffic noise. Nice and clean pool and comfortable beds. Also provides very affordable laundry service.

I recently stayed here and it was, without a doubt, the best hotel I've ever experienced on a trip. I literally can't find a single thing to complain about. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was outstanding, with a huge variety of options to choose from. The drinks were fantastic as well. The location is absolutely amazing! It's close to everything you could possibly need, with countless restaurants nearby and the market just a short walk away. I truly had the best time here. I will definitely be coming back. 1000/10!

The Luang Say Residence is an absolutely stunning hotel and a perfect place to stay while exploring Luang Prabang, Laos. We had such a memorable experience, thanks to the impeccable service, warm atmosphere, and beautifully maintained grounds. The property itself is gorgeous: a peaceful oasis with lush gardens, a sparkling pool, and a serene atmosphere that invites you to unwind. Breakfast is served at the scenic on-site restaurant with views over the gardens. We highly recommend trying the traditional Lao soup: the local chili oil was a delicious touch! Our room was spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. The four-poster bed, cozy sitting area, and luxurious full bathroom made us feel completely spoiled. The turndown service and soft robes were just the cherry on top. Every detail was taken care of, from the helpful shuttle service into town to the availability of tuk-tuks, laundry services, and anything else we needed. What truly makes the Luang Say Residence special is its people: warm, attentive, and full of heart. We’re so grateful for our stay and would absolutely love to return someday!

The aspect that I enjoyed the most during my stay was the high quality level of service provided by the staff at Bursari Heritage. I specially appreciated the service provided by Mr. Phaeng who welcomed me at the hotel. He made me feel at home and always provided me with top-class service. I would definitely stay here again in my next trip due to the great experience I had.

Amazing lotus ponds - we absolutely loved having breakfast beside the pond and visiting the very nice restaurant for dinner. The textile theming was also quite nice. Location is excellent - a short walk to the night market and all of the action but on a quiet street. Would absolutely stay here again.

It was a nice trip to Luang Prabang.

It was a nice trip to Luang Prabang. The place I stayed right on the Mekong River and the markets so the location was perfect. However, the hotel was kind of run down so we were a little bit sad. The people were friendly and helpful even their English is limited or non-existent. The tours was reasonable and interesting, especially the Kuangsi Waterfalls and Pakou Caves. The street food was awesome and cheap. Above all, LP definitely a must see city in Laos.

It’s very relaxing and easy to get around which are both a plus and minus. It’s great if you don’t want to do much as you will probably max out your activities over 2 days. Which was perfect for our 4 day trip

A fairy tale town in a lovely country. One of the world's best (and I've seen more than my share), Such lovely people. The power of a smile!!! You'll quickly recognise the better eateries, of which there are plenty for all tastes. Bouang was one. If you want photographs - and you will - just be patient: crowds clear, clouds clear, and you will get your lifetime best photos!
