We had a wonderful stay! The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and caring, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a spacious and luxurious studio on the top floor. The room was spotlessly clean and included a well-equipped kitchen with a mini dishwasher, though we didn’t end up using it. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the on-site free parking was a great convenience. Overall, we enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful, and very comfortable experience. The only downside was the breakfast buffet, which was a bit disappointing. There were no hot items apart from eggs. However, we appreciated that the front desk staff actively sought our feedback and expressed a genuine interest in improving. It's also worth noting that the landscaping is still being completed and a second building is under construction. Once all the work is finished, this property has the potential to be truly perfect.

Property was right next to 2 restaurants and a great bar. Staff was friendly and super energetic with great vibes. Supermarket is also next door a long with different markets inside. Definitely recommend and coming back!

People cannot visit the castle but there are two expositions: one about Second World War (not my favorite topic) and the other about castles in Luxembourg. This last one is very useful to plan your (next) trip to Luxembourg, since some of those castles are interesting. The old church is really worth to visit.

Luxemburg is just beautiful and every aspect (infrastructure, houses, shops) has a high quality of living/maintenance. I enjoy nature there, with the beautiful hills, and people there are always friendly. Additionally, they normally speak French, German and English, so communication is not a problem.

The castle is a brilliant visit and a walk along the Our Promenade are two excellent activities in Vianden and there are plenty of well marked hiking trails in the area as well as free public transport to adjacent areas.

The historic building itself is stunning – a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern luxury. Every detail, from the manicured gardens to the elegant architecture, has been lovingly maintained. The surroundings are serene and picturesque, offering a quiet escape from the rush of daily life. Whether you’re sipping a glass of wine in the courtyard or exploring the nearby nature trails, there’s a sense of calm and beauty that lingers with you. Our room was immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with just the right touch of luxury. Wilz. What a disappointment.

Wilz. What a disappointment. For such a large town in the Ardenne with all its great country trails and forests around, the town has little to offer except being a base to sleep. It feels very functional and food choices ae limited. It's high spots are the chateau grounds and its Battle of Bulge museum, some other gardens and a memorial tower, but plan for less than 1/2 day. Sports facilities are a plus point too - not that you'll need extra fitness - streets are steep. For one solid memory, head west out of town to the National liberation memorial at the Schumanns Eck crossroads. It recognises the allies liberation of the area in late 1944-45 through a 3km installation trail of 65 life-size silhouettes images of real US and German soldiers and civilians present during the Ardennes offensive. Go early and in eerie silence appreciate your freedom.

We want to thank Olivier for the help he give when my partner was falling from the stairs outside in the evening and Olivier called the ambulance and take care for my partner all the time. Also Olivier is a great doglover and he give our dog some special dogfood, that was a nice surprise for our dog . all the staff are so friendly and nothing is to much for them if you want something. We always enjoy our stay when we are in Cocoon La Rive. I want to thank everybody for the great hospitality. Best regards, Johan,Linda and our dog Farah

We arrived around 4pm, the host welcomed us at the reception and showed our room (suite "1001 nights") We reserved the wellness upfront but were able to alter the reservation to a later hour, so we could have a short trip to Ettelbruck first. The wellness was privately for us (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, hammam) and we could use a (electronic) bell to call for drinks when we wanted, meanwhile we were left with our privacy. We also ordered breakfast which has been delivered at our door in a nice picknick basket. For both my girlfriend it has been a wonderful romantic stay.

A nice little town, easily accessed by train from Luxembourg Ville, as well as Belgium. The town is nestled amongst lovely natural scenery - based in the valley walking up to the top of one of the hills gives a lovely change of view to either forest or grass lands with horizons. The town had several restaurants and one bakery. All a bit expensive but no more so than in the capital Luxembourg Ville. There is piped music in the pedestrian street which is odd. Other than that it's a lovely tranquil place.

The chateau museum, exhibition and tour was fantastic. Highly recommend taking the time to see the exhibition before touring the chateau. We also took the chairlift up to the high viewing point and had a few drinks. Not the cheapest but nowhere in Luxembourg is cheap. The views were great and it was worth the trip. We also visited the newly refurbished open air swimming pool which the kids loved and added a bit of relaxation to the trip. It was very clean and well maintained. The town itself has plenty of bars and restaurants to sample during a short stay, especially the ones with views over the river

It was overall a good experience at your hotel.

It was overall a good experience at your hotel. Maybe it is more romantic in the winter because we had bad luck with the weather, it was rainy and colder than it normal is for the month of May. I liked the idea behind the hotel to make it like a luxurious castle and then with SPA and modern facilities. It was very crowdy which I didn't expect for end of May. The inside isolation was not good but outside isolation was perfect. The room was very warm even without turning on the air-con. But once more, please, think about on adding some small details for people who bring their first night like married couple. A small card should have been more personal!
