Really great value for money! Comfortable and quiet room with bathtub, friendly service, great breakfast, plenty of parking spaces, good location within walking distance of literally everything. Pet friendly! Possibility to turn up the heating in the room to even an uncomfortable level, which is something not common these days, and comes as a blessing when you come back soaked from the rain. Reception was understanding with our request to check-in late, and were okay as we were late due to heavy traffic and rain. Added bonus of having spa with a view in another hotel just two minutes down the street.

My wife and I were travelling through Luxembourg on our motorbike. Warmly welcomed on our arrival and we were offered free secure parking for the motorbike which was great. Lovely evening meal in the restaurant followed by a few craft beers in the bar. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

This was by the far the cheapest accommodation we stayed in on our holiday around Europe so our expectations were low, but it ended up being one of the cleanest, most relaxing places we’d stayed in. Plus it had a gym, cafe, restaurant and small shop on sight.

People cannot visit the castle but there are two expositions...

People cannot visit the castle but there are two expositions: one about Second World War (not my favorite topic) and the other about castles in Luxembourg. This last one is very useful to plan your (next) trip to Luxembourg, since some of those castles are interesting. The old church is really worth to visit.

Luxemburg is just beautiful and every aspect (infrastructure, houses, shops) has a high quality of living/maintenance. I enjoy nature there, with the beautiful hills, and people there are always friendly. Additionally, they normally speak French, German and English, so communication is not a problem.

Nestled in the peaceful, rolling countryside of northern Luxembourg, this beautifully restored castle feels like stepping into a fairy tale. The historic building itself is stunning – a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern luxury. Every detail, from the manicured gardens to the elegant architecture, has been lovingly maintained. The surroundings are serene and picturesque, offering a quiet escape from the rush of daily life. Whether you’re sipping a glass of wine in the courtyard or exploring the nearby nature trails, there’s a sense of calm and beauty that lingers with you. Our room was immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with just the right touch of luxury. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spotless and stylish, and every amenity we could need was thoughtfully provided. What truly set our stay apart, however, was the SPa and the staff. Wilz. What a disappointment.

Wilz. What a disappointment. For such a large town in the Ardenne with all its great country trails and forests around, the town has little to offer except being a base to sleep. It feels very functional and food choices ae limited. It's high spots are the chateau grounds and its Battle of Bulge museum, some other gardens and a memorial tower, but plan for less than 1/2 day. Sports facilities are a plus point too - not that you'll need extra fitness - streets are steep. For one solid memory, head west out of town to the National liberation memorial at the Schumanns Eck crossroads. It recognises the allies liberation of the area in late 1944-45 through a 3km installation trail of 65 life-size silhouettes images of real US and German soldiers and civilians present during the Ardennes offensive. Go early and in eerie silence appreciate your freedom.

The castle is a brilliant visit and a walk along the Our Promenade are two excellent activities in Vianden and there are plenty of well marked hiking trails in the area as well as free public transport to adjacent areas.

A nice little town, easily accessed by train from Luxembourg Ville, as well as Belgium. The town is nestled amongst lovely natural scenery - based in the valley walking up to the top of one of the hills gives a lovely change of view to either forest or grass lands with horizons. The town had several restaurants and one bakery. All a bit expensive but no more so than in the capital Luxembourg Ville. There is piped music in the pedestrian street which is odd. Other than that it's a lovely tranquil place.

It was overall a good experience at your hotel.

It was overall a good experience at your hotel. Maybe it is more romantic in the winter because we had bad luck with the weather, it was rainy and colder than it normal is for the month of May. I liked the idea behind the hotel to make it like a luxurious castle and then with SPA and modern facilities. It was very crowdy which I didn't expect for end of May. The inside isolation was not good but outside isolation was perfect. The room was very warm even without turning on the air-con. But once more, please, think about on adding some small details for people who bring their first night like married couple. A small card should have been more personal!

It's a good base for the area.

It's a good base for the area. The castle with the brewery, museum and Battle of the Bulge museum were interesting (1/2 a day max). Its worth climbing the tower for the view. There's a enough bars & restaurants to offer variety for a few days. We're not hikers, so no idea on that.

The chateau museum, exhibition and tour was fantastic. Highly recommend taking the time to see the exhibition before touring the chateau. We also took the chairlift up to the high viewing point and had a few drinks. Not the cheapest but nowhere in Luxembourg is cheap. The views were great and it was worth the trip. We also visited the newly refurbished open air swimming pool which the kids loved and added a bit of relaxation to the trip. It was very clean and well maintained. The town itself has plenty of bars and restaurants to sample during a short stay, especially the ones with views over the river

Spacious room, very good beds.

Spacious room, very good beds. No airco so it turns rather hot in the room. Difficult to find the hotel in the dark by car because the entrance isn't on the street side but in a pedestrian area. You have to park your car on a parking lot and move further by feet.
