Nice hotel in a really beautiful location. Really centrally located in town and a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. Great spot to start some hikes from as well. You can get some breakfast here as well (not included in the price of the room) which was really nice. Buffet style with enough options.

This hotel is excellent. The room was spacious and clean. It is also air conditioned if you happen to be there during a heatwave like we were. The spacious bathroom is also equipped with handrails and a shower chair in case people need them. I definitely recommend.

Wow what a wonderful establishment! Staying on the river itself has such a magical feeling and then the rooms just add to that. Very clean and modern with a few vintage touches here and there which draws on the hotel's wonderful history. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant also serves top quality food and their day menus are something to look forward to everytime.

Super friendly staff , extremely helpfull. The food in the restaurant is very good and breakfast had more than you need!

The breakfast choices were amazing. I loved all the cereals, nuts, seeds, breads and pastries and yogurts. Excellent breakfast. Outside restaurant area had a great atmosphere.

We are visiting from Australia and highly recommend Waldhotel to all travellers. The facilities are exceptional with comfort cleanliness a priority. The staff all spoke English and were focused on our experience being of utmost importance. Hopefully we can return again. Thank you

This property is absolutely wonderful. In addition to it being beautiful and recently updated, the staff was very kind and helpful. I loved waking up to the sound of little birds on the balcony.

The swimming pool, whilst small, was perfect for a refreshing dip. I was very lucky to have it all to myself at 8am. The sun terrace would have been lovely but it was so hot on the day I visited, I could only take about 10 minutes out there. The bar was good for a quick drink before going out for dinner and for a night cap Location, not difficult in such a small place, but ideal at the foot of the castle and 2 mins walk from a selection of good bars and restaurants.

It was an excellent experience, everything was explained and organized, rooms are great and clean! The most memorable is of course the NUXE spa. Although it’s not included in the hotel price, it costs all the money. It costs 60€ /person however if u take a treatment in a spa like massage, etc - then the entrance is free. You can also divide this entry fee into 2 days - so if you stay in the hotel for 2 nights like we do you could go 2 times for 4 hours and it’s enough! Spa in a grit is amazing Saunas are amazing Jacuzzi as well Never overcrowded, etc We also had once a dinner in restaurant - we took 3 course menu per person it was 75€ and it was amazing ! Overall stuff and everyone were very nice and all worked good!

it's a family owned hotel; I had the pleasure of meeting 3 generations. The moment I stepped in I felt somewhat ' at home": lots of original furniture. There is a dining room, an indoor terras, a bar (smoking allowed !) An outdoor lush garden. The room (2 p) and ensuite bathroom was spacious with watercooker etc as advertised. I was baffled with breakfast: an overwhelming choice of bread, sweets, fruit and plenty excellent coffee. Indoor parking is a nice touch as well. They speak french, german, english and even a bit dutch (in that order: so I hope Dutch people will show some courtesy by trying any other language except there own :-) !) Berdorf itself has nothing much to offer; but excellent located from hiking trails within a perimeter of 5 - 10 km. Busses are free but I stuck to my car since I wanted to do/see a lot.

It was perfect, in the heart of everything. Suite was luxurious, pool and spa perfect.

A true hospitality feeling. For any hiking or motorcycle trip you make, I would keep this almost a secret
