The hotel manager Ahmed was a perfect host, extremely nice and helpful. He helped us with everything related to the stay including planning our sightseeing tour and recommendations for restaurants. The best experience by far. Lady at reception was super nice, same as the whole staff. I can strongly recommend this cosy hotel.

The location couldn’t be any more amazing! Next to the waterfalls and a 5 mins walk to the Medina, yet super quiet (there is a mosque right next door, though). Rooms were recently renovated and super cute. There is aircon which will be great in the summer. Views from the terrace are pristine!! Communication with the host was great and check on went smoothly. Would recommended 100%.

This Riad makes you feel special and important when you get there and check in. But when you leave the hotel, you don't feel so special and important anymore. This is the conclusion we made from our situation, which left a not very pleasant impression. Before leaving the hotel we asked for Morrocan tea, we had to wait and remind the reception that the tea had not been brought yet. Next to us in the reception area sat other guests who had just arrived. All guests were welcomed with Morrocan tea and Morrocan delights. These guests sitting next to us were brought tea. And we were still waiting ... Soon our tea was brought. And a check was presented for payment. ( 20 dirhams) My husband gave 100 dirhams to that guy, and said to keep the change. After we finished the tea, We thanked the receptionist girl for loveley accommodation. To which she said that we needed to pay for the tea. We said that we had paid. She ran to ask her colleagues until that guy confirmed that we had paid and everything was fine. We left this beautiful hotel with such an unpleasant aftertaste.. But in overall Everything was Perfect ! Amazing place to stay! Like a beautiful Oasis !

Our visit to the Hotel Dar Medisiana exceeded our expectations in many respects. The hotel itself is well located in the middle of the medina. When we arrived, we were greeted with tea and cookies by a friendly receptionist. While we waited, we noticed how beautifully decorated the hotel was. Everything seemed to be color-coordinated in the bright atrium that forms the center of the hotel. A place has been created here with dedication and great attention to detail, where visitors immediately feel at home. Our room was also tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. It had air conditioning, a fridge and even a kettle. We also really liked the roof terrace, from which you have a spectacular view over Chefchaouen. One thing we would like to emphasize positively is the overall service, starting with breakfast. It was absolutely delicious and another highlight. We were served a variety of fresh Moroccan dishes. All the staff were very friendly throughout our stay and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

Riad Cherifa is a very beautiful, authentic Moroccan house, filled with nooks and crannies and art and woodwork and generally beautiful interiors. Lovely staff - very welcoming and helpful and smiley. Breakfast was delicious - and we were sorry to have to move on.

Chefchaouene is famous for the pretty blue houses and streets. They are indeed very eye-catching. Unfortunately for us, we arrived during a very wet weather period so we only experienced Chefchaouene in rain or drizzle. However, we can imagine how stunning the area would look in dry weather.

Very laid back compared to Marrakesh.

Very laid back compared to Marrakesh. It takes about 4 hours to get there from Rabat or Fes. A good place to eat is Sindibad restaurant, just off of the top of the square. Chefchaouene is built on the side of a mountain so you need a reasonable level of fitness as there are lots of steps and slopes to climb up and down.
