A la carte dinner is clearly a high-end experience with correspondent pricing. On the left side of the building you'll find a biologic garden where some of the products used in the kitchen are grown. The tour of the winery is of great interest if you want to know more about wine production, especially on the scale of Les Celliers de Meknes. An absolutely dream-like experience if you're looking for some place to relax and enjoy a beautiful location, gourmet cuisine and good wine in the middle of the Moroccan countryside.

IrelandThe hotel was amazing , swimming pool and a big private car park just in front of the hotel for safe parking which was great for parking my motorcycle and I could leave the luggage on it ,, the staff was the best ever he even took the time to order me take away from down town and had it delivered to the hotel for me ( had a long day on the motorcycle and didn’t fancy riding into town for food ) he couldn’t do enough, it’s an amazing hotel and everything you’ll ever need 👌👌

Staying at Riad D’Or was an unforgettable experience. It is located right in the heart of the historic medina but it still offers the perfect combination of convenience and calmness—the rooms are incredibly quiet despite being in such a lively area.
Everything was spotlessly clean, the furniture is beautiful and traditionally authentic. The staff were absolutely amazing—professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to assist us with anything we needed. Thank you for everything, we are really grateful to have the opportunity to stay with you.
What I also want to mention - the food here is simply outstanding. The breakfasts were incredible, with a wide variety of options. We also had dinner at the riad, and it was nothing short of perfect—authentic Moroccan cuisine at its finest.
I highly recommend Riad D’Or to anyone visiting Meknes. When we’re getting back, this is the place we will return to.

This riad is so full of history, character and atmosphere. The 4 very generous ground floor bedrooms are accessed from the central courtyard / eating area. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. We were lucky enough to be able to eat there one evening and it was one of the best meals we had during our 2 week stay in Morocco. We tried unsuccessfuly to buy train tickets online from Meknès to Fes and when we expressed concern about not succeeding (it was a busy week with schools children on holiday), the manager Issam offered to go down to the train station himself to buy them for us, although it proved anything but straight forward even for him. Great location with easy access to the Mausoleum, Royal Palace area and Medina

We had a nice stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. It’s conveniently located near minimarkets, which was great for quick purchases. A particularly nice touch was the presence of a sandbox/play area for kids—it made it easier to relax while the little ones had fun.
The property has good features like a dual shower and dryer, although the bathroom space was a bit tight. There were also a few ants near the entrance, which could be improved.
Still, the positives outweighed the small issues, and we appreciated the thoughtful family-friendly setup. Would recommend for families looking for a practical and comfortable stay.

Wonderfull experience! Beautiful and comfortable place, very clean, the staff was very helpful starting with our luggage because there is no elevator, and that was a big help for us as a group and ending with our wellbeing! The host of the hotel, Mrs. Karima is a very kind and warm lady who makes sure we have all we need! The Restaurant of the hotel has the best food from Meknes! We enjoy every lunch and dinner!

We had a lovely stay! Such a nice Riad! Location was very good. Big rooms and beautifull decorated. Staff was super friendly. You can book trips with driver from the Riad. Diner was excellent. Roof top terrace to relax with little pool. Breakfast very nice. We recommend the Riad!!

Very kind staff that help us effectively as our daughter was having a bad time experiencing fever.
Also, the food was the best we had in Morocco as we had dinner in the Riad every evening during Ramadan.
The inner court of the riad is quiet and beautiful.

An underrated jewel.
An underrated jewel. People often skip Meknes in favour of Fez but i found it more authentic with far less hustle. The people are simply unfailingly helpful and charming. And there are many sights to see, including Volubilis which is mind-blowing

Meknes is more traditional & laid back than Fes.
Meknes is more traditional & laid back than Fes. The business people are less aggressive in trying to sell you something & it was easy to navigate around the city. Plenty of interesting architecture, Médina gates and nice places to eat.

Interesting medina, market and main square. Short (free) visit to mausoleum is main event, otherwise not a lot to do. Probably 1 day/night is sufficient. Use as a base for half day visit to Volubolis. Limited decent restaurants , most are in Riads. A restaurant with a terrace with nice views exists on inside of gateway near main gate
