The Art Gallery hotel is so charming and beautifully designed/decorated. The breakfast and little patio out the front to enjoy a drink was so relaxing. The staff were very attentive and so friendly. Sergio and Renley (not how you spell it in Albanian!), were incredibly helpful and kind. The hotel is in a great location! We had an amazing view of the amphitheatre ruins out of our window.

Staying at Merit was a real luxury experience. The King Suite came with a personal concierge who created a Whatsapp group for our stay, nothing was too much to ask. Best hotel breakfast we have ever had, and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant Zaytoun was 10/10. Great location in Budva, the King Suite overlooks the old town which was a beautiful view. The Bvlgari products in the room were a nice touch.

Location is easy to access beach, markets, exchange offices and estaurants. You can have free parking spot which is really important in the region. Receptionist lady is keen to help you for your comfort. Her English is fluent. She also prepared a to do list for us in our upcoming visit to Berat. We took advantage of that list and also enjoyed in Berat. Room that we stayed was 101, it was big and comfortable. Beds and furnitures were new. Decoration within the hotel and restaurant were also modern and nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Although there were plenty of restaurants by the sea coast, ours was the most attractive and good for the value.

Split is awesome!

Split is awesome! It's got so much beauty, very clean, port and cobbled streets. There's great restaurants, history and the people and neighbouring suburbs are fantastic. The water is crystal clear and you can easily get ferries and flights. Loved it!!! Highly recommend a tour of the palace.

Dubrovnik is truly a magical city. 💙 Between the beautiful stone streets, impressive city walls, crystal-clear sea and breathtaking views, every corner feels like a postcard. I loved the atmosphere, the history and the unique combination of the old city and the Adriatic. It’s a place that I’ll definitely remember and hope to visit again someday. 🇭🇷✨ A truly unforgettable experience!

It's a great city, but the beaches are not sandy. Hotels are expensive, so consider booking an apartment (lots of super-modern apartments available). Having a car can help you get around. Ubers and Bolts cancel a lot, so give yourself time booking a ride. Halal food is available but you have to ask....

Budva is overall a nice place to visit, with plenty of beautiful beaches, good food (especially seafood), and lots of activities to do. A trip to Lake Skadar is also a great option if you want to explore beyond the town. The main downside is transportation if you don’t drive. Taxis can be difficult to find, and traffic can get absolutely insane, especially during busy periods, which can make getting around quite frustrating. The beaches are lovely, but keep in mind that beach chairs and umbrellas usually come at an extra cost, and the prices are not regulated, so they can vary quite a lot from one beach or beach club to another. Overall, I enjoyed Budva, but I would definitely recommend having a car or planning your transportation in advance.

Coming from Tirana, Durrës looks like a Brazilian favela at first. To be honest, the buildings make you feel like you've landed in some third-world country. BUT the seafront changes everything. Don't expect beautiful old city centers like in Greece or Italy, but do expect clean, cheap beaches with amazing sand! If you want a genuinely beautiful city, look into Vlorë instead. The mountains there look incredible right next to the sea. You can take boat tours from the coast to check out sea caves and virgin beaches. Expect to pay around €75 per person if you're based near Vlorë, or €110 per person if you're coming from Durrës and need the bus. It picks you up right in front of your hotel, which is a nice touch (minimum 8 hours trip). Nightlife seemed underdeveloped at first, but that's because we hadn't gone further north on the beach. That's where people actually start having fun. It's fucked up that restaurants and outdoor clubs close at 23:00 though. Way too early for someone like me. Don't expect high-quality seafood. Some restaurants cook it in a pretty mediocre way. I'm from Timișoara, Romania, and we cook better octopus there than in Durrës =))) People are nice, prices are good (coming from a Romanian, that's saying something), and it deserves a spot on the list for anyone who lives close by. We ended up driving 15 hours total instead of 12 because of road conditions, and for that kind of drive time I could have just gone to Bulgaria instead. Except they don't have sand this nice!!

The pearl of Istria, with a cozy old town, harbor and restaurants. Perhaps the best restaurants are La Puntulina and Fish House, and among the pizzerias Pizzeria Bura. The crystal clear water and natural environment of Lone Bay beach are a wonderful experience. The dolphin tour is fantastic, and it is better to start from the harbor on the north side behind the market, because the trip is more pleasant with a larger, more stable boat.
