We absolutely loved our stay at Ranthari! Both the owner and all of the staff were so nice and helpful! One of our best stay in the Maldives. Our room had everything we needed. Really good cleaning of room everyday. Beds really comfortable. place is just in front of the best beach on Ukulhas.

I really like the vibe of the hotel😄 The staff is extremely friendly and they really try to make your vacation as good as possible. The food was amazing. It is really comfortable and cozy hotel. I liked everything : morning breakfast (especially Maldivian breakfast), location of the hotel, cleanliness, staff. All the staff are really friendly, attentive and careful. I would like to thank Saud for his help. I would definitely come back again and recommend this hotel to my friends.

We stayed 5 days in Grand Sands Hotel and we enjoyed it very much. The staff was super attentive and helpful throughout the entire stay (they picked us up from the harbour, gave us some drinks on arrival while provided a briefing on both the island and the hotel). The room was spacious, clean, with plenty of storage space and a big & functional bathroom, with a big shower. We had full board and the food was very tasty and well-cooked. The waiter was very professional. The hotel manager was accessible and always willing to help and provide advice on things to do in the island, excursions, etc. We booked the whale-shark excursion and it was fantastic.

Black Pearl Himandhoo is a 3-star property located in Himandhoo. Featuring a shared lounge, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Good place if you want to stay in Himandhoo, the owner waits for you at the jetty and your luggages are carried by a small mini van to the guesthouse. There you are greeted with fresh coconut and a beautifully decorated, nice, clean, ac room with own bathroom. The owner can arrange excursions, he is willing to help whenever you want, he even came with us to snorkel next to bikini beach and showed us the best reefs. He is a fun and nice person. The guest house is not located next to the beach, but it has sunchairs at the bikini beach for free.

And they do it properly. Food is great, especially local dishes and fruit. Snorkel equipment and bikes are free. It is reasonably clean, you shall get beach towels. Main front desk person, Musa will be ready to give you information, help in any logistic issue, organize excursions or solve any problem. Overall it is nice. Village shops are nearby, beach is 5 minutes by bike. Sun beds are relatively scarce on sunset beach, so go early morning and take good sun beds. If you visit Thoddoo you will share experience of real life Maldives. It is affordable, very good for recharging. It is not luxurious as the resort, but beach and sea life is fantastic, local fruit too, and you feel spending time in real community. And you will enjoy Maldives for fraction of resort cost
