Our stay at Villa Lala was one to never forget, both the hotel and the location are so incredibly beautiful and the very friendly staff made sure we had an amazing stay right from the very beginning! The hotel is very romantic and can be recommended to any couple! Their restaurant including wonderful sunset views has very tasty dishes and really great cocktails! We are definitely planning to come back!
We also thank the hotel very much for helping us arranging a tour to Los Arcos and all their advice for activities nearby!

It was so nice to have so many pools and areas to choose from. You could be on the Marina side or the ocean side pools. The food was really great. The afternoon seafood place was amazing and the lemon pie delish! Staff were great, rooms large, comfy beds, good ac. The fellow with oyster stand right outside of the area was great. The bicycle tour, kayak options were a nice bonus to go around. The one fellow for bike tour showed us where to find thr local croc. Evening events were good and nice variety.

Fantastic hospitality and friendly staff. Well located. The hotel has a certain charm. While it isn't the most modern or fancy place, the style and service made it feel like it belongs in a bygone era in the best possible way. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Cute hotel close to the metro and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Rooftop terrace was a great asset with nice views of the city.

We move from Florida to Guadalajara in 1995 and it was great. In 2026 Guadalajara is an absolute mess with unreal traffic peoblems and terrible infastructure. We would never live in Guadalajara for any reason. Mazatlan is far superior in evey way as we have live there for 22 years. We will never drive our vehicle on the terrible roads all over Guadalajara.

Only my second trip to PV and it was just an overnight on our way home from a Canada vacation. Would love more time to explore as there is much to see but enjoy the ocean area and had a chance to return to our favorite restaurant Cuates & Cuetes on the beach. Will plan another visit in cooler months as early August was just too hot and humid!

Its a magical town of mexico.
Its a magical town of mexico. I love its weather and off course food. I think they have to renew their cabanas because its tourist place and some cabana are in very bad condition . It effects on tourists. But over all mazamitla is just amazing place to visit. I personally went there last week and almost every week i spend my vacations there bcz of its weather and calm ambience. Its basically relax me and take my stress out.

Beautiful pueblo Tequila jalisco is. Much history and Canteritos el güero outside centro tequila is a most to go visit for cervezas, Canteritos of all sizes, good food and many banda groups playing in the largest outdoor bar i have ever seen. It holds about 2,000-3,000 people daily

Just come prepared to relax and know that some days might be too humid or hot for what you had planned, so have an alternate plan. We enjoyed the pool and its slides, the tennis in the morning, walks on the golf course and the tours offered by the tour operator in the lobby. Saw lots of ibis, heron, a black hawk, osprey and more on the property. Of course, no visit would be complete without seeing the coatis.

Loved Ajijic. Great restaurants and cafes, wonderful shops, very pedestrian friendly, beautiful town with art everywhere, charming, friendly, and plenty to do and a great plaza to hang out in. Great public transpiration options.

If you are interested in religious tourism San Juan de Los Lagos is the place to go. Its a small city, under 60,000 inhabitants, but receives 7-15 millions tourists due to its religious importance annually. The city is full of hotels, souvenir shops, eateries, public bathrooms, and tourists!

Beautiful City with a small Pueblo feel. Everything was within a small walk or quick taxi ride. The ease of the Oxxo (Like 7-11) and its hours of operation left me never needing anything. The Cities Centro and it’s Mercadito was a true delight, filled with eating options and small stores selling everything from small knickknacks to fresh fruits and vegetables. The vendors around the mercadito gave it such a delightful surprise and it’s recommended for any travelers.

The main square in the town and the few streets surrounding the hotel were really nice. However, many facilities are not open except on the weekends. Then again, I would have no desire to go there on the weekend because of the crowds.
The trip to Las Piedrotas was great and very close ( 5 minute drive) from town.

Great city full of gorgeous flowering trees, lime trees along sidewalks, great climate, even in rainy season, & welcoming residents. Many great & unique places to explore within range like Tlaquepaque (Méxican versión of an old Greenwich Village full of arts, handicrafts, & musicians), the active archeological site of circular step pyramids & museum of Guachimontones. A city center full of beautiful historical architecture such as the Gothic Church, & the ornate theater. The Bascilica, the cultural Huichol museum & many nearby fun towns such as Tequila & the mountain town of Tapalpa. Hot springs; lush forrests & great exploring/hiking to do in the Barrancas (sometimes referred to as the Méxican Grand Canyon). Easy & cheap public transportation!
