It was comfy, clean, had all the necessary things covered, a small coffee lounge and vending machines in the lobby, the only politic was to not to smoke but I brought my food and could eat in my room, no time slot imposition to get out or back in. It was in front of a Bus Station.

Queretaro is a very interesting city to visit with lots of history to discover, and beautiful churches to visit. In particular, visit the church of San Antonio de Padua for beautiful but restrained decoration and an atmosphere of total tranquility.

The monolith is the attraction and it is quite spectacular.
The monolith is the attraction and it is quite spectacular. But not an easy climb. There are a lot of good restaurants and bars in Bernal. We spent a day in Bernal, which was plenty and drove to Tequisquiapan for another day. Two days in Bernal would have been too much for us.

The centro area is car free in all directions so it makes for a nice stroll around the historic area. It's very flat with nice sidewalks and ramps. If we had spent more time there we would have taken a winery tour of which there are many. I think Tequis would be a good two to three night stay.

I was there for work, but was able to enjoy the town in my off-time. This is a great town that's not crowded with tourists. It's "tranquilo" and a great place to just walk around and enjoy.

We loved the el Cerrito pyramid.
We loved the el Cerrito pyramid. It’s only a short uber ride away. The hotel should recommend it. The museum there is amazing!! No tour needed.
The historic centre is marvellous! Everywhere you turn there’s a beautiful square with sculptures and fountains. This city is a blend of the best Mexico has to offer. So walkable. So beautiful!
The Mercado restaurant at the first turn right into the historic centre is amazing and super affordable! It’s on 5 de mayo.
The food market on Friday night was incredible!

Beautiful small town with the obvious things to do like hiking the Peña and visiting the town itself. However there are many fun activities to do there or near by for all types of travelers. From wine tasting, gastronomy lovers, adventure seekers or just your good ol’ fashions relaxed getaway!

Tequis has a "Pueblo Magico" designation, its center is beautiful, like the description said. weekends are busy, weekdays are quiet and more convenient for walking care-free. we stayed there on a weekday and where amazed by the spaces afforded by the openness afforded by the fact that locals were at work and few tourists like us. there were services everywhere. "Tequis" as the locals refer to their city, appear to us as a better choice than Tequila, Jal. or Cholula, Puebla. Its street were clean, shopping, restaurants, architecture, restaurants, hotels etc. are open and welcoming.

Town itself is underwhelming but scenery around is great. Difficult to access but recommend visiting Tancama archeological site and ex convent Bucareli. We managed both roads with a sedan, but a car with tougher tires would be safer.

A good combination of antique architecture and modern buildings. Clean and well organized. Public transportation is very smooth, which is better than CDMX. Climate here is also cozy and mild. A great variety of foods can be enjoyed here.
