During our trip through Nicaragua, this accommodation in Las Peñitas was by far the best. Everything was thought through down to the smallest detail and simply breathtaking—you can immediately feel how much love, passion, and professionalism have gone into this place. The pool was spotless at all times, and the garden area was very idyllic, quiet, and inviting—a perfect place to unwind and relax. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable: only about 15 meters on foot, at most 30 meters across the street—you really can’t get any closer. The restaurant was an absolute highlight and felt more like a gourmet restaurant than a typical hotel kitchen. The paella in particular was simply phenomenal. Here, too, you immediately notice the high standards of quality. The staff were consistently attentive, present, and very warm without ever being intrusive. The owners themselves are incredibly kind, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. They keep an eye on everything and take great care of their guests with genuine dedication. The rooms were perfect: there were two different soaps (a fruity hand soap at the sink and a separate shower soap), as well as two different pillow firmness options—one soft and one firm—so you could choose what suited your neck and sleeping comfort best. The beds were neither too hard nor too soft, not worn out at all—simply perfect. Everything felt like new and was impeccably clean down to the last corner. We also really appreciated the additional amenities: yoga mats could be borrowed to enjoy a private yoga session above the restaurant in complete peace. There were also hammocks available for guests to use freely—pure relaxation. Another big plus were the organized tours: excellently planned, with English-speaking guides, pick-up directly at the hotel, and return transport included. Nice traditional style hotel, extremely friendly staff, pool, garage

The staff was so friendly. We felt so welcome and at 'home'. They also helped us with arranging a taxi to our next stop, even during the busy 'Holy week'. The location was perfect. With a walk on the beach you could go to all the other restaurants (when you would like to eat outside) Another fun thing, they named all the rooms to a famous Belgum beers.

The host was super friendly and even gave us a ride after check-out to las Peñas. The hostal house is very nice, it even has a roof top terrace. And it has a pool in which you can actually swim.
