Lots of different lounges to sit in, location was excellent, just a short walk from the train station and the bus stop for the ski bus was right outside the hotel. Good value hotel and our room had an amazing view. Excellent breakfast.

It's a really cozy and nice place with everything you need. We slept really good in this wooden cabin and the mountain air was fantastic. Breakfast is delicious. Just be aware that if you book a room with shared bathrooms you have to bring your own bed linen (or you can rent). It's is really calm area with no distraction.

The hotel looks amazing. It's over 100 years old but looks much better than new hotels. Classic design.

Breakfast was perfect, a buffet, with a lot of fish, fresh bread. Dinner was perfect too, 3 days buffet, and last evening, a 3 course meal, superbly cooked, the interaction with staff were very good.

We booked it as a stop between Oslo and Hardangervidda and regretted that we only booked for one night. A large, cosy and comfortable apartment that is decorated with style. But what we appreciated the most was the host. We felt welcome from the beginning. She has a heart for nature and outdoor activities. We arrived in the late afternoon from Oslo and wanted to do some activities. She took us from the house for a beautiful hike in the mountains. Afterwards she provided recommendations for other activities in the neighborhood. The day after we changed our program and instead of going immediately to Hardangervidda we've made a superb cycle tour to Finse.
