There is always something to do. We are a family of 4 with two boys under 11. There was never a moment when they were bored. Either learning to ski for the first time or simply play in the snow there was so many fun activities outside. If they chose to remain indoors they could play in the most amazing indoor pool with a water slide or go bowling, or be in the game room where there was a pool table and table tennis. For us parents we always felt safe having the children run around doing their activities and allowed us to spend some quality time together. The food was amazing. The breakfast spread was healthy and fresh and a very large variety. No junk food at all. We actually had dinner in the restaurant every evening and between the A La Carte menu or the Daily menu we had wonderful options. There was a kids buffet every night. It was only a 20 minute walk to Geilo if we needed groceries or shopping. There was also a Husky sleigh ride just a 10 minute walk from the resort. Should also mention that the gym and spa was top notch. It was our first ever ski trip but we are already looking at when we will return to Vestlia again.

It's a really cozy and nice place with everything you need. We slept really good in this wooden cabin and the mountain air was fantastic. Breakfast is delicious. Just be aware that if you book a room with shared bathrooms you have to bring your own bed linen (or you can rent). It's is really calm area with no distraction.

I arrived an hour before my estimated check-in time and was kindly allowed to enter without any issues. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, which made the experience even more pleasant. Excellent service from the very beginning—I would definitely come back without hesitation.

The property was easy to find, access and was absolutely delightful. It was beuatifully decorated and felt like a cosy home. It was lovely chatting with the owner. Our only issue is that we only stayed one night, and would have loved to stay longer.

We had a great week in Mathias's apartment. The location cannot be bettered as it's within a few minutes' walk of the supermarkets and shops but is also on the ski bus route to both the Geilo and Vestlia sides. The apartment was lovely and warm and had all the facilities we needed to cook at home once or twice during our stay. Communication with Mathias was great and it was easy to access the apartment when we first arrived.
