Great hotel in a wonderful location plenty of free parking (a rarity in Norwegian hotels) really pleasant and helpful staff very good hot and cold breakfast and had a very nice evening meal in the hotel restaurant coffee and tea were provided free at all times

The hotel itself is lovely and it was a quiet place to stay when I had to stop driving because of an unexpected snow storm. The room was confortable and clean. The breakfast had a good variety of food . But the best thing for me were the employees at reception who helped me so much with all the information they provided me about roads and driving around there (it was my first time driving in snow and I was terrified), and they even gave me a blanket in case the road was closed on my way back home. If you guys are reading this, I got home safe and sound and I appreciate a LOT your help. You're the best! Thank you kindly 🤍

On first impression, we were a little skeptical due to the "rustic" appearance, especially of our room. However, it turned out to be a very pleasant stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the location beautiful and quiet. And the breakfast in the morning was deliciously served in a nice dining area.

The location right next to Xcountry ski trail around the lake, also between 2 bus stops about 200m to one& 100m to other, very close to SPAR supermarket, & slightly in the edge of town which made it quieter

We had a great week in Mathias's apartment. The location cannot be bettered as it's within a few minutes' walk of the supermarkets and shops but is also on the ski bus route to both the Geilo and Vestlia sides. The apartment was lovely and warm and had all the facilities we needed to cook at home once or twice during our stay. Communication with Mathias was great and it was easy to access the apartment when we first arrived.

A large apartment with everything you need, two separate bathrooms (one in each bedroom), and one in fully equipped kitchen and very cozy living room. Even had a Nintendo if you're up to play a few classic games. Host was friendly and there's also a beach in about 8 minute walking distance (or 1 minute driving).
