We have been travelling for so many years and still this was one of our favourite hotels ever. It was cozy, clean and had great add ons like the free games,the free parking, fireplaces, free lockers at the sports club and the free water. Special thanks to the super friendly staff at the reception who did an excellent job connecting two separate bookings to one ( this should be normal but it really is not)

From the outside, I really wasn’t expecting much more than a motel but as soon as we stepped inside and were greeted by Thomas on reception, I knew this was going to be great. Freeflow coffee was available for guests in reception and in a station inside the cafe/restaurant too. Check in was smooth and we were soon in our very comfortable, airy and large room. The beds were super comfortable with pillows and duvets like marshmallows covered in crisp clean linen. There were plenty of sockets to charge electrical items and lots of surfaces to place our personal items. The bathroom shower was excellent and very powerful with lots of hot water. Although the hotel is attached to the Mall with a number of supermarkets and McDonald’s, We had dinner in the hotel’s on site restaurant - we both had schnitzel - and it was plentiful and delicious. Our waiter also refilled the bottle of water for us too. Breakfast was a thing of beauty - so much choice and everything supremely well cooked and warm too. The cinnamon rolls were gorgeous. I had a great night’s sleep as the curtains blocked out the light and we were not disturbed by any road noise. It really was a pretty perfect stop over and I’m only sorry we had just one night.

Storefjell Resort is located next to Storefjell Ski and Sledging Centre, only 20 km from central Gol. Guests can enjoy free private parking and access to the pool, gym and sauna access.

This hotel is really perfect. We did not expect that it has kitchen and complete utensils. Rooms were very comfy , just the other one has no door but it wasn´t a problem. Perfect overlooking to the river and mountain.

Hotel is super nice!! We liked the look of the interior and it was really cozy. Spa is also nice, it only has 2 saunas, but it is ok. The hotel restaurant offers nice food (we had pizza and nuddle bowl) and the breakfast is amazing-you have a variety of choice and everything is delicious-would defenitely recommend including breakfast in your booking.
