HungaryPerfect location, right in the center, also close to public transportation. There is a parking garage next to the hotel, where parking is very easy and comfortable, but accordingly also rather pricey.
Breakfast was extremely good, offering a wide range of warm and cold dishes.
We really enjoyed the views from the glass-walled sauna on top of the hotel. Beds were comfortable.

She helped me to cancel the 2 extra rooms which we didn't need where we formally couldn't cancel it anymore at that point.

EstoniaGreat location! Beautiful place to spend the night or more. Great little town. We managed to get a room with a balcony, it was great to sit outside and look at the mountains, truly beautiful.
The food which was served for us (pork ribs and fish of the day), we could continue to eat them all day long, very tasty. In addition, they brew their own beer! Didn't get to taste all the flavours, but a good experience and overall the best day/night of our trip. Definitely recommend!

The apartment was more spacious than I expected and clean. The kicthen was enough equipped and I had everything I needed during my staying. The description and the photos of the studio was exactly as depicted on the site. Although the hotel is situated on the main road, it was quiet and very safe staying there.
The best of all was the staff at the reception, so polite, helpful, warm and honest. I had a problem with a very late checkin and helped me with an immediate solution for a smoothy check in, early in the morning! And as if that was not enough, the next day, after my check out, the lady in the reception offered to call from her personal mobile and arranged everything for me to solve a problem with the keys of my rental car. I have no words to thank her for her kindness and help. The compassion and the empathy she treated me have been engraved on my mind as an excellent expression of the norwegian hospitality.

Nothing more to say that if you come in Norway, you HAVE TO go in this place.
I could write a lot, as we truly lived our experience.
In some word :
- authentic place, you fill in the XIX century, with very nice and cosy ambiance
- location is just amazing
- views are unforgettable
- service is perfect
- restaurant is not only excellent, but it is in a ballet room that did not change since its creation
- rooms are simple but well furnished and clean
If you look for authentic places, that you will remember all your life, this is the place

Voss is very easy to reach by train or bus, and it's very well connected. There's a cable car to whisk you up the mountain, and from there there are walking paths over the fells, and to ski lifts. There's also plenty of nice places to walk in the town and buses to take you to more remote places to walk. The town has some nice places to eat and drink, but it isn't overly touristy. It's an excellent base for visiting Sognefjord and Flåm -- I did a nice circuit on train, ferry and bus and packed a huge amount of gorgeous landscapes into a day.

Røldal is a small and a beautiful town.
Røldal is a small and a beautiful town. Nice walk in the nature also the views are fantastic. We did not explore the local food there because we are vegetarian. But tried coffee and Bakari. It was nice.
You can see some good waterfall and steep mountains around the town and good water bodies. We did not swim but I think there are some places you can go swimming also saw some people kayaking.
Folgefonna glacier is approximately one and half hour drive from the town. Given a chance you must go. It is just awesome.

Vickinghaug is set amongst incredible Norwegian fjord scenary. It has the other point of interest in that there is a, no longer functioning in its original capacity , factory in the middle of the Fjord. Because it poses no environmental problems any longer. This factory gives the Fjord an interesting historical relevance. The proprietors are obviously always improving the function of the accomodation to suit lots of different styles of travellers. We stayed in a three bedroom, self catering apartment with views on both sides. We had a drink in the evening looking over the lake and the waterfall and dinner at night looking over the Fjord. The walks in the area are popular because they are so full of natural beauty and thus attract many hikers and campers . The town felt slightly off piste from the over used tourist pathways which suited us perfectly.

Eidfjord is a really beautiful city.
Eidfjord is a really beautiful city. We enjoyed every moment there with those landscapes. Mountains, river and sandbeach will give you more relaxiation. You will have everything that will need for your stay. There is a small supermarket as well though we didn't think about the price ;-)

We went from Bergen to Odda on Saturday and spent one night at the hostel. We went for the hiking on Sunday early morning and back to Bergen at the afternoon. The small town is really cosy and beautiful.

Nice place, good breakfast, employees spoke English fairly well and were nice. Very good location on the lake. Recommend requesting a room away from the elevator as it’s extremely loud and will keep you awake if you don’t have ear plugs.

The accommodation was spacious, new, modern and well-equipped. It is a series of separate apartments on the first, second and third floors. Access is from a door on the street and it is not possible to unload a car from in front of the building. You have to park in another location but there is plenty of free parking available nearby. To get up to the apartments there is only a narrow stairway. The first floor apartment has a door opening on to a large roof-space with very nice views of the fjord and surrounding town.

Eidfjord is a very practical location since from there is access to many activities and visits that I would recommend such as Vøringsfossen, Kjeåsen, Norsk Natursenter - Hardanger and a lot of sensational excursions. Apart from that you have Hardangerfjord, the Ulvik/Voss area, Hardangervidda just a few kilometers away by car.
And the town is small, quiet and charming.

Tyssedal and Odda are both industrial towns.
Tyssedal and Odda are both industrial towns. There are mountains, the fjord and waterfalls, but there are also large heavy industry factories - one produces titanium oxide and one is a zinc smelter. They are there because they need power and there is a ready source of power from the hydro electric station located inside the mountain at Tyssedal. The location is great if you want easy access to Trolltunga and Bondhusvatnet, but it isn't very touristy - it is more of an industrial area. The Kraftmuseum is excellent. We ended up there because it was raining in the morning - however, it was really good - a film and then a guided tour of the old hydro electric station which has been restored. It also gives a lot of information about the area, how it changed from farming to industry and why it is so industrial. So to summarise - use Tyssedal/Odda as a base but don't expect unspoilt scenery.

Voss is clearly the sporting capital of Norway whether it is Summer or Winter. Everything is in easy reach.
Hotel was adjacent to the Gondola, Railway Station, Tourist information centre & close to lake & town. Our stay was in a traditional room with view of the lake. Perfect blend of traditional and modern. It had the singularly most advanced en-suite facilities I have ever used. Japanese technology & German manufacturing. Wonderful balcony for a couple to relax in. Room size was to USA standard with seating for 5, writing bureau, 55 inch TV, etc.
Swimming Pool with personal lockers. Didn’t use the restaurant but bar meals were good with range of local beers. A number of individual reception rooms for quiet times, reading or family discussion. Staff are efficient & welcoming.
