Nicely decorated apartment with everything you need, great heat pumps so it was warm eventhough it was -23 outside. Owners really nice and helpful. Parking just infront of the entrance so easy to take in luggage

Putten setter is a very nice mountains-cabin style accomodation in an excellent location right at the edge of Rondane, making it a great starting point for hikes into the national park. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and firewood was prepared to light the fireplace for cozy atmosphere in colder weather.

I will say this. I really liked Chotel, it has its own specific atmosphere. The hotel's glory days are long gone, but it is being gradually renovated. My children and friends felt great in this hotel and we will return to it as often as possible.

The cabin is much more beautiful than in the pictures. The administration staff are very kind and welcoming. There is a calm atmosphere in the area, everything is clean and tidy, a pleasant environment.

Beautiful countryside and the Rondane mountains.

Beautiful countryside and the Rondane mountains. Also, easy access by car from the main Oslo to Trondheim.main road. First went there in 1974, still love the area. Need to look around for open restaurants as some close out of season. Greatnif you are relatively self reliant.

The staff! Wonderful people, accomodating and responsive.

The staff! Wonderful people, accomodating and responsive. It's fairly remote, the nearest full grocery store is a solid 20 minute drive from the property and that is also the closest store/place to eat. Still, shopping and restaurants is not why people visit Rondane! Go here for peace, tranquilty, helpful people, nature and experience trails in every direction. The river location is truly lovely, the hotel itself sells homemade bread, offers waffles in both the Norwegian and Belgiun style and the restaurant serves a traditional, fixed menu every evening.
