Very well kept clean, has a nice atmosphere and not shabby at all and staff were amazingly helpful. Breakfast was also really nice and the shower was awesome!

Amazing detail touches - lovely Rituals amenities, comfortable blankets, decorative pillows… although the rooms were smaller than some hotels they were exquisitely designed and accommodated all needs. Staff were super friendly, even with some booking confusion they went out of their way to help. Really lovely views, quiet environment. Wonderful stay.

Very good location, beautiful old building, very friendly and accommodating staff. Although many hotels are not so keen on dogs joining you for breakfast, there was not problem seating us in an adjoining room close to the buffet. Would absolutely like to visit again.

Luxurious and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast. The chef stood there frying you egg. Many options in English, Norwegian and modern breakfast. I booked late, got a bottle of water and check out was 12.00.

Lovely staff! Very friendly! Gave a couple of good travel tips! Good location. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast, bread was delicious and still warm! Free car park just in front of the hotel. Could improve on cleanliness.

The hotel is located in a very nice place with the view on the lake and beautiful norwegian houses with grass on the roof. The breakfast was delicious and full of different food some of which we truly loved like caviar in the tube. Also the area around hotel is very scenic and we used it to do perfect photos. The room was very clean and comfortable. The parking in the hotel is spacious and free, there is also an option to charge the car is you travel with electric one.

Breakfast was provided at the reception and I took it to my room, nice gesture. The apartment / room was large and nice and comfy.

The location was stunning, the staff were really attentive and friendly. I had dietary requirements and it was played dinners rather than all buffet service, they had prepared a meal especially for me which was delicious. The room was tidy if basic but considering the price I was very happy.

Hotel is located in very calm area, surrounded by gorgeous Norwegian wild forests. We have been here out of the main season, thanks to that hotel was pretty empty. For a special attention hotel restaurant deserves. Both breakfasts and dinners are prepared on the highest level. Breakfast is very diverse and beautifully served. You will definitely find something for yourself. For dinner we can have very limited number of dishes but those are amazing. I think it is advantage, because it makes you sure they are made of fresh ingredients. For a special attention deserves the waiter (bald man with a beard and huge muscles 😂). He was very talkative and helpful and professional 👏🏻. (He definitely deserves pay raise 😊) we felt really taken care of.

Loved the decor. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful on arrival she changed our requirements of room without hesitation as we had mistakenly chosen two single beds.

Very kind and friendly staff. They made sure that I was able to get dinner at the restaurant before it closed, which I was most grateful for. This hotel was an oasis after hiking all day! Beautiful historic hotel and fantastic location!
