Set in Amberley, The Amberley Hotel features a garden, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Nice, clean, new and a well laid-out room! The staff was phenomenal and flexible after I mixed up dates. Super restaurant downstairs met all of our dining needs. Great pie shop around the corner!

I loved the staff, but to be honest, I've never been in a hotel that has shared bathrooms. It was not so bad. They had individual sinks in each bedroom. The food was great, even had G.F food.

The Brown Pub is a budget hotel offering accommodation in Methven. With free WiFi, this property has a shared lounge and a bar. The property boasts a restaurant. What a lovely stay! The single bed room is great value for money. There’s also so many bathrooms which is wonderful. There’s a large spacious living area and kitchen and balcony (great to hang out for those nice warm evenings).

Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. A unique, 'out of the box' experience. The hotel is a living museum, with antique paraphernalia and curios everywhere. The furniture in the rooms is amazing. Feels like you have stepped back in time to the 1800s. Lester and Sam were excellent as hosts. Meals were great quality and value. The bar (available to in-house guests only) offered beer and wine at reasonable prices. There's not too much accommodation in the Otira / Arthur's Pass area with dining and bar facilities, so the Stagecoach Hotel fills a valuable niche.

Boasting stunning views of mountains, river and the valley, Bealey Hotel is within a 30-minute drive of 5 ski fields. It offers a restaurant, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. Room was spacious, very clean and had an amazing view of snow-capped mountains. Beds were luxuriously comfortable. Everything was as new and in immaculate condition. Great for even the fussiest of people. The continental breakfast was much better than expected and included cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs as well as a wide range of cereal, with preserver fruit and yoghurt, not to mention coffee and a choice of several fruit juices.

Situated in Arthur's Pass and only 300 metres from Arthur's Pass National Park, The Tussocks, Arthur's Pass features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location and parking are very convenient. The apartment space and four rooms are very suitable for us. All the things in the kitchen are enough for us. Besides, the shower is very comfortable. We enjoy to stay here very much.

Boasting a patio with mountain views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Petes Place can be found in Arthur's Pass, close to Arthur's Pass Train Station and 700 metres from Arthur's Pass National Park.... Stunning setting in the small village of Arthur's Pass with easy access to a multitude of trails right from the front door. The house was absolutely perfect: very comfortable furnishings, cozy feel, great amenities, and lovely views. The pictures really do not do it justice.

Located in Rangiora and only 40 km from Christchurch Art Gallery, Ra-ata Farm provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. I absolutely love this place! It was a gem that I stayed in en route from Kaikoura to Arthur's pass in a very cosy ensuite room. It was decorated really nicely and they left a lovely gluten free breakfast for me in the small self-contained kitchen area for the morning. I had this on the little chairs/tables outside while having a cuddle with their friendly dog. Also treated myself to the use of a dressing gown. If you need to stay in Rangiora then I'd definitely recommend Ra-ata farm!

The Studio at Northfield is set on 4 acres of gardens and paddocks on the edge of Methven/Mt Hutt Village. The property features mountain and garden views and offers free WiFi and parking. Luxurious and private, we felt pampered staying in this studio in a beautiful country setting.
